Ask a questionAbout Dan Sullivan
We have lived here full time and part time for many years. Love all four seasons. The property was the original homestead in Curtis Hollow in around 1780. We were able to preserve the orginal post and beam homestead {now the fireplace/dining room} Lots of history and good feelings abound. We love the rural setting with hikes to the waterfall, spring, top of Baldy yet minutes {we are about halfway between Woodstock and Killington} to great restaurants, shopping skiing, golf etc.
Dan Sullivan purchased this Farmhouse in 1976
Why Dan Sullivan chose South Woodstock
Great history and spiritual sense of the property, open fields ancient grave site, spiritual garden, very quiet, with babbling brook and waterfall and miles of hiking trails. The house is very comfortable but made for a family to live in.There are lots of nooks and crannies for some quiet time but also great, warm open spaces to enjoys a group or family. We try to accommodate your needs and do wish that your stay be memorable.
What makes this Farmhouse unique
The land is beautiful and we have worked hard to fill the lawns with gardens and quiet sitting areas. The home is owner designed with many separate levels for privacy and many large round windows for lots of light. The spiritual garden with stone labyrinth is special for us. And yes, we built the labyrinth ourselves.
