We currently live in the area so it is with great pride to be able to rent our home to travelers and extend our hospitality acting as 'tour guides' to some of the area's best attractions! We are involved with the community, and local government so it is of utmost importance to us to maintain and preserve the area & it's beauty for years to come.

Less than an hour from St. Louis, MO with any imagineable activity at your fingertips but nestled in the heart of Missouri's wine district for the relaxing & rejuvenating vacation you imagined, we're certain we have the accomodations for your needs!
This house offered a great atmosphere with the pool and the hot tub! We stayed along with 3 other couples for our yearly friendcation. We did find it strange, however, that simple necessities were not included in your stay. Be prepared to bring your own toilet paper, napkins, dish soap, ect. After multiple home rentals through this site, I can be sure to say that this is the first experience we have had that those items were not provided. Overall it was a fun house to stay in that offered plenty of room for all our guests but were disappointed with the amenities (or lack there of). Would stay again but come more prepared! Nearby Katy Trail and wineries were also a plus!
We encountered several maintenance issues. The dishwasher didn't work, with multiple faults--eventually we gave up on it and washed everything by hand. The internet was down over 90% of the time, and the rural location has little cell coverage, so that hampered our ability to research area attractions. The owner was unable to address these issues in the week we were there--and unwilling to rebate us anything for the inconvenience--but said they'd get the internet and dishwasher fixed for future visitors. There were also cleaning problems here and there.
Assuming then that they fix the dishwasher and internet this would be a 3-star rental: a fun place to vacation if you don't go in expecting the Waldorf. The kids loved the pool and hot tub, and the washer and dryer worked and were handy to have. The location has its charms if you're looking to get away from St. Louis a bit into the countryside--it's convenient to the Daniel Boone homestead, hike & bike trail, and there's a nice regional park just a few miles away along the Missouri river that I would have liked to explore more.
We enjoyed staying at this property very much! There were 7 adults and 2 toddlers that stayed in the home. The kids and adults both loved the pool. One night we discovered the air conditioner wasn't working right. The owners/managers were very quick to respond to our communication. They had someone there in the morning to take care of it and even gave us a free dinner at their restaurant the next night. The management was extremely kind and we would recommend this property to any family!
This is a wonderful property! A well-kept, nice place to stay. Eight of us ladies stayed here for a bachelorette party and enjoyed the warm, welcoming atmosphere. The hot tub was a perk, for sure! Of the four beds, only one said their bed was a tad stiff. Overall, our stay was a success and we loved every second!
The owners provided excellent service, instructions, and were very nice through the entire process. I would recommend this place to anyone traveling to the area!
While the house is fairly comfortable the beds are not. Some of us either slept on the couch or the floor rather than sleep in the bed in the room with the antique furniture. Considering what we paid for the rent the owner should invest in new mattresses. The location is good --close to St Louis , St Charles & vineyards in the area.
pleasantly surprised , we had 7 women for a girls weekend the house was very clean . plenty of room large eating area everything we needed in the kitchen for cooking. with in walking distance to winerie, and a bar that had great food. we were able to be in the pool and listen to the band at the bristo next door . the katy trail is right behind the house, great for biking. overall a great stay.
