This cozy mountain duplex has four bedrooms and three bathrooms, a large great room and den with cathedral ceilings and a loft area. It is nestled in a quiet and tranquil wooded community within walking distance to the Breckenridge Quick Silver Lift at the base of Peak 9 and to the historic Breckenridge downtown. The free ski bus stops at the end of the block and provides free transportation to all ski bases and downtown locations including the Breckenridge Recreation Center, local restaurants, the Breckenridge River Walk Center, the Stephen West Ice Arena, and the Breckenridge Golf Club.

The duplex itself is 2200 square feet and has a cozy cabin feel. It is nicely furnished in cozy rustic mountain decor and has a fully-equipped kitchen and a large dining area with a table that will seat 10-12 people. The beautiful gas stone fireplace, cathedral ceilings and loft add to the warmth of this lovely home. The floor to ceiling windows in the great room provide a gorgeous and unobstructed view of the mountains.This charming residence sleeps 10-12 people comfortably. There are two bedrooms on the main floor, one is equipped with a queen size bed and the other with two twin beds. These two bedrooms share a bathroom on the main floor. The loft has a queen size bed, two twin beds, a sofa bed and a bathroom. The lower level has a queen-size bed and a single twin bunk bed and a bathroom on the same level. There is also a washer and dryer available on the lower level and a TV in the den and loft area.

Beautiful Spot - Fantastic Value

We spent a week here with 8 adults & 3 small children and loved it. The pictures and description were pretty much spot on and it's very easy to get into downtown. We'll definitely look here first when we are back in Breckinridge.

A couple of things to note:

- There are a bunch of games & toys for kids in the living areas which was a nice surprise

- We cooked from scratch in the kitchen, it was a tight fit but very doable for our group

- There are 3 thermostats for different parts of the house so you have some balance

- Owners & kids used an attached suite for a day or two each and they were super cool

- It's an older place so wifi was a bit spotty but usable

- There was tons of snow (in February) right off the front & back porch which was awesome for kids

- None of our FWD vehicles got really stuck, but we did spend some time pushing/shoveling. AWD or winter tires would have no problem at all.

- The lower level bedroom was bigger than anticipated & quiet enough that grandparents could sleep while kiddos were still running around

Met all of our needs

Had a great time spending an extended weekend here. The house was perfect for the needs of our group of 10. Loved the view off the back deck and perfect distance to town.

Excellent house for a family vacation

We loved this house. There were eight of us traveling and we had more than enough room. The house is centrally located and well maintained. We enjoyed the gas fireplace and the gorgeous views. I would certainly rent this house again.

Excellent Value and Location

*Quality and Caring Staff

*Plenty of space for a large group (we had 12 Adults and a child)

*Large kitchen Space and Table to accommodate the whole group

*Good view of New Years Fire Work show (not the best, but we saw perfectly fine)

*Hot Tub and Heated Pool

*The price was excellent especially for what we got and being during the Holiday Season. For us it was nearly a thousand dollars cheaper than anything else i saw.

* Beautiful views of the mountains.

*There was a wonderful remote controlled fire place that put out a lot of heat and seemed like a real fire.

*Location of the house was near to the ski slopes and town, very accessible.

*Eat at Fatty's Pizza, its busy but well worth it


*Hot tub and pool are a little bit of a journey

*Not all rooms heated equally some were way too hot others to cold

*Pillows were not that great to me, bring your own and its not a big deal

*could have used a few more towels initially.

Overall, If i plan another ski vacation to the area, i would defiantly consider staying here! You should too!

Gorgeous Mountain Cabin

My friends and I recently rented this cabin. The location was perfect, close to town but nestled in the woods. The view from the house was absolutely gorgeous. There was plenty of space for all of us, including a large dining room table that fits 10 people. I definitely recommend this wonderful home!

Large enough to accomodate all 12 of us

Nice, even luxurious, by our standards but there were safety concerns. Mainly, toddlers on the upper level had no restraints - had to watch them continuously. We felt there needed to be a gate before the stairs. Also, lower level needed a railing on the left side going down or a wall. A toddler could fall off to the left. Much of the patio railing was wobbly.

This attractive duplex is located in a quiet wooded residential area and has a beautiful view of the Colorado Ten Mile range. It is a 20 minute walk to the Breckenridge ski resort Quick Silver Lift on peak 9 and to town and is also on the free bus route that transports guests to all ski resort bases and town locations. Some of Colorado's infamous hiking trails are very close by as well as downhill and cross country skiing, snow shoeing, ice skating, sledding, mountain biking, fishing, golfing, and dining in historic downtown Breckenridge.
