If diving or snorkeling is your desire, the breathtaking house reef will guide your way! Gear-up and walk right in from the new sea entry to enjoy all that nature has to offer. Emerge from the water and rinse your gear in the house dunk tank, shower off by the seaside. Enjoy meals on the tiled lanai, or the generous seafront balcony with sun shading pergola and stunning sunset ocean views; or choose to eat out at a variety of nearby restaurants. After a spectacular day, enjoy the sleep you deserve in our expanded master suite, king bed topped with 4-inch thick memory foam.

The Island of Curacao: Curacao is the place to visit whether you are looking for diving, relaxing, shopping or just a great vacation. There is plenty to do on this small island. The culture is very diverse, so you will feel you are in several different countries at once. Visit Otrabana and Punda for shopping and great food. Enjoy a great hike to Mt Christoffel, visit Shete Boca Park and the North Shore. The best of all, Curacao sports the most beautiful beaches in the caribbean. Porta Marie, Cas Abou ,Playa Kalki just to name a few. Cas Abou has just been rated a top 10 beach in the world.
Diving and snorkling are one of the biggest attractions on the island. There are many beautiful sites, some of which you will be the only diver/snorkler/swimmer there!
Rent ATV's, or for the fitness folks - bicyles. There are plenty of trails in Westpunt. Visit Hato Caves for a day. Curacao as your vacation destination! You will not be dissapointed.

Dive Details: If you are a diver, this is the right place. Shore diving adventures galore, and great boat dives as well. Try our house reef, it will not disappoint. For boat dives, don't miss Watamula - the coral heads are enormous. For you wreck junkies, we have the 'Superior Producer'. Her hull sits entact in 110' and offers many entry points and easy swim throughs. And just a few minutes away from the home is Go West Diving. Go West is a Padi 5 star, rated 100 best in the world, and home to Alice in Wonderland, the island's most famous shore dive.

Why choose our vacation home: We continually upgrade our home, making it one of the best choices in Marazul resort. Our location is sea-front & pool-front. Great day views, festive but subdued lighted nights views, and extremely convenient for beverage trips or watching the family.

Our amenities include a brand new kitchen and dishwasher, washing machine, quality patio sets on both the upper & lower level outdoor living areas. Perfect Vacation

Beautiful location. Overlooking the ocean and pool. Meals spent on top and bottom terrace overlooking our incredible view. The most spectacular beaches only minutes away. Restaurants close by. Quiet and relaxing. Exactly what was needed for our 2 week stay. Highly recommend.

Condo review

We spent three weeks at Marazul Dive Resort in Sept 2023. Chris & Andrea's condo is very nice. It has more amenities than most here: AC on upper & lower levels; dishwasher; washer. It is directly behind the pool, which was abit concerning to me, not wanting to have people or noise infringe on our space. However, it was not a problem at all, as there is beautiful vegetation giving visual privacy, & the constant wind through the palm trees carries away all but the loudest of noises. In fact it was nice being so close, as we could run in & out of our condo to use the bathroom, get a drink of water, etc. Chris & Andrea went out of their way to accommodate our needs, & moved one of the downstairs couches up into the bedroom so my child could sleep there. They even bought a beach umbrella & two beach chairs knowing we were looking to snorkel at several remote beaches with no facilities. They were immediately responsive to my various questions & concerns both before & during our stay. They are super hosts for sure! MDR itself is a wonderful place to stay if what you're seeking is a quiet, laid-back atmosphere close to nice dive & snorkeling beaches. The pool is very nice, & the property is gated & secure, with a night watchman as well. The grounds are beautiful, & are immaculately kept. I highly recommend MDR, & Chris & Andrea's condo.

Nice place, right on water. It's diver heaven there and in the area; however, it is a long way from the more populated area south. It's an interesting drive, but for us, not divers and late late bookers, it got old. Not the facilities fault.

Well appointed with local info

Chris and Andrea's place had everything we needed for a comfortable 1 week stay. Comfortable bed, dishwasher, well appointed kitchen, even a washing machine which was handy for rinsing out salt water soaked suits and towels after a beach day. We loved the local information provided in the apartment... especially the "ramblings" of Sunshine 😃. Chris provided tips on everything from restaurants to rental cars. Very helpful! Property manager, Renee, was friendly and let us borrow 2 snorkels from his office supply. The pool and grounds are very well kept. Perfect location for beach-hopping!

A week in paradise.

We had a great week together as a family. Location was great near nice beaches and great snorkeling. Nice unit, everything worked, all was as advertised. Would stay here again.

Andrea & Chris are hard working professionals living in Charlotte NC, USA. We are adventurous types who prefer fun in the sun action packed vacations. We like to do things on our own agenda and don't prefer hustle & bustle. We have been snow skiers, water skiers, boaters, jet skiers, hikers, swimmers and fitness junkies, but scuba diving is our true passion. Diving is relaxed excitement if that make sense.

We definetely prefer nicer things, but have no interest in anything that is pompous or pretentious. Good service is always nice, but we more often prefer catering for ourselves.

We take a lot of pride in our approach to life, the impact of the choices we make each and every day, and are firm believers in karma. We strive to excel with our honesty, and to treat people fairly and with the utmost of respect. We welcome to opportunity to aid you in your vacation planing and a stay at vacation home 2B (the place 2B).

Why they chose this property

We have been vacationing in the Carabbean for many years. The island of Curacao however, is the only one that kept drawing us back for repeat visits. Initially we were staying at the 'hotels' near the city of Willemstad. Without fail, we always found ourselves making daily trips to the Westpunt side of the island. The beaches, mountains, diving, north shore boca's and relaxed pace are all splenders that are unrivaled elsewhere on Curacao. We finally asked ourselves, why are we staying in Willemstad....Westpunt it the place to be! So for our next trip we researched villa's in Westpunt, stumbled upon Marazul and ultimately booked a stay. The moment we walked into the resort, we know we found something very very special. The next day, we learned that 2B might become available for sale. The thought of actually owning an oceanfront villa in the Caribbean consumed the balance of our vacation. Until now, the idea was only a dream. But Marazul was different, we felt at home. The day after we returned to Charlotte from our vacation, we contacted the potential seller, and ultimately made the purchase. We had found our dream come true and hope to share it with you as well. Apartment 2B in Curacao is the place 2B.

What makes this property unique

The expanded master bedroom suite and lower level extension really opened the home up. The Pergola on the upper level tiled balcony transformed the space into a perfect shaded spot to relax, dine or just soak in the ocean scenes.
