Even better than represented!!

  • 5 of 5

My girlfriend and I chose to rent this property mainly due to the location, but when we stepped inside we realized it was truly perfect. It's better than the pictures could ever tell you. Read a few entries of the visitor log and you'll see what I mean. We're not ones for the golf course resort kind of places. The owner is very nice and the place is filled with all kinds of nice accents. Great feel to it. And the books of waterfalls and great hiking in the area was really handy. We didn't count on having that local info. We'll be back for sure!

The Shack

  • 5 of 5

Really enjoyed the "Shack" My grandson and son in law really loved fishing the river they caught many fish (just catch and release) We only stayed the weekend but we went to several State Parks in the area and also went to a swimming area cant remember the name it had rapids and lots of people were there enjoying the natural slide . Love to come back !!!

My wife and I truly enjoyed our stay at the"Shack"

  • 5 of 5

This rustic cabin offered a convenient while private location for us to use while we explored up-state South Carolina, celebrating our wedding anniversary.

Ms. Tone was extremely friendly and responsive to our needs and even provided some fresh vegetables from her garden.

Don't forget to bring your camera to capture photos of the deer, fox, blue birds and wild flowers.

Very rustic cabin

  • 4 of 5

This is truly a very rustic cabin. Even though that was noted in the summary, I don't think I was truly prepared. Once we got used to it though it was just fine. We grew to enjoy just how rustic it was. It was clean and very private. The owner responded very quickly when I needed something and that is always a plus. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your cabin.

Perfect family getaway to the mountains!

  • 5 of 5

The Shack was the perfect solution for our family of six - half of whom wanted to camp out and half who didn't. It was clean, charming, roomier than expected, well-appointed, quiet, and quaint. From the picnic table and little river to the old wooden floors and fire pit, The Shack had us relaxed and chilling out in no time. We were able to hit Table Rock, Caesar's Head, DuPont a State Park, Twin Falls, Brevard and Saluda within a few days. Our dog probably thought we accompanied him to dog heaven. Tone was friendly and attentive to our needs. She has a little gem with this property. It is perfectly rustic with all the creature comforts a "non-camper" could want. We'll be back!!
