This condo was extremely disappointing. Many things were not in working order, including the ceiling fans, bathroom fans, many light bulbs were out, clothes dryer (it ran, but didn't actually dry clothes), the downstairs toilet only flushed about 50% of the time, etc.. The kitchen was not well stocked and lacked many basic items we needed during our stay (including glasses, bowls, napkins, cooking utensils, etc.). All of the linens (sheets & towels) were worn out and stained (so much so that several of my family members used sleeping bags because they didn't want to come in to contact w/the sheets) . The carpet & furniture in the condo had a lot of stains and didn't feel very clean. We've rented many condos & in Coeur du Lac & Forest Pines over the past 15yrs and this was by far the most expensive and also the most disappointing (especially for a unit being managed by a property management firm). Especially frustrating was that the pool key was not in the unit when we arrived, and since it was a Sunday, we had to wait until Monday to receive it.
The house was pretty nice, nothing fancy but close to what the pictures depicted and nothing seriously wrong.
However, the service from Goldfish definitely left something to be desired. I started contacting them weeks before check-in to request early check-in. They told me to keep checking in as the date got closer, but never said it was impossible. I ended up asking 3-4 more times with no response. When we arrived at the property I got a hold of someone at the office who as very rude. We ended up hanging out around the property until the check in time (4pm) and seeing no cleaning crews (their excuse for the inability to check in early). Had they been friendly and professional, this wouldn't have bothered me. However, stringing me along, being unresponsive, and most importantly rude, really rubbed us the wrong way.
