About Enza & Pablo

We are an Italian-Spanish couple with 2 children: a girl of one year old and a boy of 3 years old. We met in London in 2001 and lived there for a couple of years. We work for the pharmaceutical industry in Madrid and we come to Rome very often to see the Italian family.

Enza & Pablo purchased this apartment in 2011

Why Enza & Pablo chose Rome

Having a house in the heart of Rome was one of our dreams. However, as we only come here on holidays, we can rent it to tourists the rest of the days that is empty. It helps us to pay our mortage.

What makes this apartment unique

The first unique benefit is the location. Located in the heart of ancient Rome and walking distance to everywhere - traffic is very chaotic in Rome so avoiding cars and parking was a must. Also you can easily move with the metro and the train anywhere you need.

The second unique benefit is the way the apartment is: cozy, lovely and charming.

Wonderful stay in Rome!

  • 5 of 5

Enza's apartment had everything we wanted: very well equipped, clean, spacious and comfortable. It is very centrally located, close to all conveniences, grocery stores, metro (right at the door), buses and within walking distance of a lot of Rome's historical sites and many restaurants. Enza was extremely nice and easy to deal with, answering all our numerous questions promptly and precisely. And Vicky who greeted us and is Enza's contact person in Rome, was absolutely wonderful: she took the time to explain how everything works in the apartment and was ready with maps and suggestions for activities and a list of great roman restaurants. She was proactive, making sure we were having a nice time and had everything we needed. When we had a question, she would reply almost instantaneously. Thank you Enza and Vicky, we had a memorable holiday in Rome!!!

Great location and lovely apartment

  • 5 of 5

We were returning to Rome after 2 weeks in Tuscany and Enza's apartment was a welcome relief for weary travellers. The A/C was necessary, as Rome was even hotter than usual, and the hot showers and comfortable beds were a nice change from the "rustic Italian" accommodations we had in Tuscany. We have 2 teenage boys, so the second bedroom was perfect with a lot of space and 2 single beds. Apartment is in a great location, we walked everywhere, except for the Vatican City. But there is a taxi stand right outside the door and it cost us 10 euro to get there with 4 people. Worth it, in my opinion. There were lots of travel books and restaurant recommendations left for us, which we really appreciated. We did not meet Vicky during our stay, but her brother was there to greet us and he was awesome and very helpful. Vicky did check in though by text, to make sure everything was going well. We booked this apartment after another one fell through, and I'm so glad it did! We loved it and would have been happy to have a few more days. Thank you Enza and Paolo!

Fun apartment but not when it is hot!

  • 4 of 5

Here are the pros :Apartment was in fantastic location literally off The Piazza at the subway station stop. Check in with easy and thorough. List of restaurants also included. Kitchen fully equipped.

The cons:The apartment could never cool down enough. We did as instructed turning AC off before leaving for the day and turning back on to maximize cooling but thermostat only allowed down to certain amount and with humidity during the summer it was too hot Stayed at two other apartments during my 2 weeks in Europe and no apartment was this hot and humid. Another thing very noticeable compared to the other apartment was having to clean the kitchen before leaving. Including bringing trash downstairs and cleaning counter top, sinks Etc. Other apartments I stayed in both Florence and Venice I could leave the kitchen as is as the cleaning fee included the kitchen. Not with this apartment. Another notable was how small the shower was! Slightly bigger than 3x 3 feet. I am relatively thin and even this was too tight for me! This bathroom was in master which is good except for the humidity/heat factor increasing whenever someone was taking a shower! Fortunately there is another bathroom, but if like me you are with more than two people, it is like having only one bathroom instead of two which makes it quite difficult for families. Lastly, you need to bring your own soap as none is provided. Having to get to the supermarket on arrival for soap was no fun.

fabulous well-located apartment

  • 5 of 5

Enza's apartment was just as pictured. The beds were comfortable, the aprtment was very clean and couldn't be better located. The showers were excellent and the air conditioners kept us cool while it was 95 degrees outside. Enza is a lovely person who answered all of our questions and quickly followed up with additional information. If you're visiting Rome and have a family with two kids this is the perfect place.

Best location!!

  • 5 of 5

This apartment is exactly as advertised. There were absolutely no surprises! The pictures represent the apartment well. The location is absolutely fabulous! We were able to walk to all the major sites – except the Vatican- within 10 to 15 minutes. In addition to being within 100 feet of the metro, this apartment is also very close to a grocery store, pharmacy, and the city touring buses, and regular buses (all within Piazza Baberini). I cannot say enough about this location! Vicky, the property manager, was absolutely a delight to deal with. She was very helpful and pleasant.

Location is excellent to visit Rome. Just around the corner of Piazza Barberini, and extremely close of Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps (5 min walk). Easy to walk to all the major sites (15 minutes walk): Colosseum, Roman Forum, Pantheon, Campo dei Fiori, Piazza Navona etc. If you are travelling with children, you can bring them to Villa Borghese park walking through Via Veneto (10 minutes walk).

Extremely well connected with other areas of Rome: Metro A, bus and taxi stops are in front of the apartment. Termini station is 1 stop away and take you to Fiumicino airoport.
