This newly renovated condo in the heart of downtown overlooks the ivy clad Washington State Convention Center from its perch on the 13th floor of a mid-century high-rise building. Guests are within easy walking distance of the city’s best sights, shops, entertainment, and restaurants including the downtown Seattle shopping district, Pike Place Market, Seattle's Waterfront, and the eclectic Capitol Hill neighborhood. The Space Needle and Seattle Center are 1.3 miles to the North and the Stadium district an equal distance to the south; each a short bus, cab, or monorail ride away.
This property is managed by Seattle Oasis Vacation Rentals. We are a family owned business, and work everyday to redefine your vacation rental experience. Your satisfaction, as our guest, is our goal.
You enter into a spacious and beautifully decorated living room, complete with brand new furnishing and modern amenities. White leather seating and a large window framing the sparkling lights of downtown Seattle. The decor has a great modern vibe! The kitchen is fully equipped to whip up a quick meal. All linens and towels are included. Laundry facilities are available for guests in the building as well as a roof top deck with city views of Lake Union, downtown Seattle, and Capitol Hill.
The spacious master bedroom has a queen-size bed and the second bedroom is equipped with two twin beds. A fold down European-style couch back in the living room offers a full sized sleeping surface for a fifth guest. Stunning views of downtown with its skyscrapers, and a peek-a-boo view of Elliott Bay are available from every window in this modern and comfortable condo.
An iPod friendly stereo, 60” LED Smart TV with HD cable programming, Netflix/Vudu/Amazon streaming streaming, as well as DVD & Blu-ray player in the living room are provided for your entertainment. In each bedroom there are also 40 inch LCD HDTVs. Complimentary high speed wireless internet is available throughout the condo as well as CAT5 connectivity. A PC with Media Center and 24” LCD is provided so there is no need for you to lug a laptop around.
With an almost perfect walk score of 98 the location simply can’t be beat. Situated in the ideal downtown Seattle location, it is just steps to Pacific Place & Westlake shopping centers, live theater, movie theaters, the monorail, and many restaurants. The building is just a few blocks from Swedish Hospital. Add in easy access to & from I-5 as well as the airport light rail line and needless to say, the location is prime!
Unlike most other vacation rentals in the area, we do not charge for parking. There is one parking spot per unit in our building and the garage is located in the basement of the building.
Please be aware that this condo does not have air conditioning. We do provide fans for your comfort. Also, be aware that this is an urban environment. In any urban core, you can expect to hear street noise, often late into the evening. If a silent outdoor environment is important to you, downtown Seattle (or any big city for that matter) may not be the best place for you to stay. That being said, this unit has high quality, noise muffling windows and heavy duty concrete construction.
Any questions about this, ask! We want our guests to be happy. We try our hardest to make your stay the best it possibly can. If there is anything we can do to make your stay more comfortable next time...just let us know! Please enjoy the gift basket upon your arrival with a few things that will make your stay enjoyable.
My wife, Sally and I are excited for you to stay with us! We originally purchased a condo in Belltown to use as a second home in the winter of 2007.
Because of our knack at hosting, great marketing and amazing design, what was just an investment has become a full time business. We currently have 30 properties in the heart of Downtown Seattle that we either own or manage on the behalf of others.
Sally is an interior designer by trade, and I'm sure you'll be able to tell when it comes to the quality items to help you feel comfortable while you are staying with us.
We take our position as hosts very seriously. Our condos are cleaned immaculately and have the best staff in the business. We are both foodies, and welcome the ability to share with you the best places in the city!
Thanks, and we look forward to hosting you!
Seattle Oasis Vacation Rentals purchased this condo in 2012
This building is centrally located; close to the Pike Place Market, flagship Nordstrom, Space Needle and Seattle Center, and Seattle waterfront. We are surrounded by an eclectic urban neighborhood, full of shops, restaurants, and nightlife.
You will love our property! You can pack light. We provide everything you will need to make you comfortable during your stay. Besides towels and linens, we provide shampoo, conditioner, body wash, a starter supply of toilet paper and paper towels. A high chair and pack n play are available for a flat rental.
Loved the apartment and the position, but the bed in the main bedroom was BROKEN! Literally. The boards supporting the mattress were broken and someone had tried to fix it with props and tape. The most uncomfortable nights we have had on our holiday so far. Very disappointing, particularly considering the money we paid to book what we believed would be a great place. The most annoying thing is that both the owner and the property manager know the bed is broken and continue to allow the place to be rented without it being fixed.
The apartment was reasonably well appointed, but not particularly clean on arrival. The traffic noise from the freeway was considerable; a background roar, particularly with windows open. Suggest closed windows & ear plugs at night.
Great location, walkable to many attractions.
We loved the condo; it was clean and adorable! We were able to walk to everything we had planned for the weekend - pier, baseball, pikes place, pioneer square... We will definitely use it again!
A great condo in a fantastic location just off Pike in Downtown Seattle. Easy walking access to so much of the city. The condo was clean, well stocked, and appropriately maintained and managed.
The accommodation were great. Located right in the heart of downtown Seattle within walking distance to many of the local sites. Clean and comfortable! The Condo had no AC but none was needed. The ceiling fans were quit adequate. Grocery stores were Conviently located nearby. Loved the view which we enjoyed through the very large windows. Window treatments were great. Couldn't get over no bugs when we opened the window for fresh air (since there are no screens) We are from the Mid-West. The bugs would carry us off. ( Lol ) Great Visit to Great City with many things do.

Anyway, Variety is the spice of life.
From the moment we booked (as smooth as silk) to our arrival in Seattle it could not have been any easier, (wear tennis shoes). VRBO is the best. Our trip was FANTASTIC! From the moment we caught the Link Light Rail at the airport to the West Lake Station at the Mall (hello Nordstroms!) it was super easy. Derik met us for early arrival and spared no detail on showing us around. A security door and a beautiful street with lots of greenery. While going up to our floor you could sense the history of the building built in 1949. However, when we walked into our condo it was EVEN BETTER than pictured. The vibe in the condo was absolutely happy. Spotless and contemporary with wifi, stereo, Roku, big screens in all rooms. THE VIEW knocked it out of the ballpark! The window treatments were perfect for privacy or gazing at the beautiful skyline. If that wasn't enough, there are 2 rooftop patios that we thoroughly enjoyed at cocktail hour as the sun started to go down. You could see water to the right and to the left. We would sit in front of the open window on the trendy barstools and drink our coffee, tea and goodies we had walked down to Pike Place to procure. Shrimp cocktails, fresh sourdough, wine, plenty of Starbucks (the large roasting facility is a short walk UP to) pastries, Boston Clam Chowder all purchased at the market. We saved so much not having to eat out. Although we did eat at the Cheesecake Factory down the street night 1. The walk down in the am was great upon return UPHILL home there is a bus #49 that drops you off a block above the condo giving you a chance to stop in a convenient family grocer (tennis shoes) on the way downhill back to condo. No car necessary, transit is enviable. UBER, LIGHT LINK RAIL, MONORAIL, mostly walked. (tennis shoes) We took the monorail to the Space needle, go early before crowds, and the glass garden. Across the street is the most awesome use of space a convention center ever made. Its called Freeway Park, great for picnic or photos or just to walk thru on our way down to the water (tennis shoes) We also went to eat on the Pier 57 with the Great Ferris Wheel. Awesome. We bought some beautiful flowers and the apartment was so well stocked that we even had a vase. Great linens and beds provided an excellent night sleep. I WILL GO TO SEATTLE AGAIN, BUT ONLY IF THIS PROPERTY IS AVAILABLE! Oh, and did I say wear tennis shoes?
This property is managed by a native Seattle resident who cares about his guests and loves his hometown. The location is unbeatable—don't let its proximity to the I5 gulch deter you. The windows are double pane so you will not notice. The little Pike Grocery just around the corner and up the hill 1/4 block has all the basic you need for morning coffee and snacks. Smile at the owner. He will smile back. The IKEA furnishings inside could use a little updating and the platform beds are not my cup of tea (too low for my 50+ spine) but any issues we had were dealt with by the lean and caring staff at Oasis, especially owner Derik. Oasis manages 40 other properties in the downtown area, with many in the cool and happening Belltown area. Check them out, too. But if you are doing business downtown, going to the convention center, SAM, Pikes Public Market, etc., everything is walking distance. And if you don't want to hoof uphill, go UBER for under $7 from almost anywhere between Capitol Hill and the bay and between Pioneer Square and Queen Anne.
Our beautiful property is centrally located in downtown Seattle. From it, you are an easy walk from the waterfront, Pike Place Market, flagship Nordstrom and the retail core, and Seattle Center. 100's of restaurants are in this neighborhood, along with unique shops and nightlife.
