Our chalet is located in North Conway Village, 226 Seavey Street, (our 3 other properties are next door, 233355, 4435152, 4435545.Can be combined for Family reunions/ Weddings) YOUR PETS ARE WELCOME with no fee but we need to approve before booking. Need how many and what kind for insurance purposes. Thanks.

The Chalet unit has a 52 inch Samsung HDTV.

High Speed Internet, updated and fully equipped kitchen with granite counter tops and breakfast bar, along with leather furniture in the living-room. This unit has a washer & dryer, a gas grill and a really nice three season porch. In addition, it has a dining area with a table that seats six to eight people and two bedrooms.The Chalet unit can accommodate up to six people. One bedroom has a king size bed. The other bedroom has a set of bunk beds and a queen size bed. Linens and towels, along with kitchen appliances and dishes are included as well. You can walk to ZEBS, HORSE FEATHERS, NORTH CONWAY COUNTRY CLUB, CRANMORE MT. AND more than TEN RESTAURANTS AND BARS. Cranmore Mountain hosts Summer Festivals and Concerts. The crystal clear Saco River offers fly fishing, swimming and kayaking and is also only a short walk. You can walk to Hiking trails for five neighborhood mountains. (Cranmore, Black Cap, Peaked, Middle, and Hurricane Mountain as well as Whittaker Woods).

The Chalet is located between Mt. Cranmore Ski area and The Train Station (NORTH CONWAY SCENIC RAILROAD) in down town North Conway Village. You can walk to all the events in the park. They include MUD FOOTBALL, NUMEROUS FREE CONCERTS, CRAFT / DOG SHOWS, 4TH OF JULY FIREWORKS and numerous other events. There are at least 13 restaurants and bars within walking distance. Horsefeathers, Vito Marcello's Bistro, Fat Biscuit, Stairway Cafe, Peaches, Deacon Street Restaurant and Whiskey Bar, Pricilla's, Flat Bread, The Met, Front Side Grind, Hooligans, The North Conway Country Club, Ben & Jerry's, and others.

The crystal clear Saco River at FIRST BRIDGE RECREATION AREA, is also within walking distance. You can bring your chair and watch the kayaks and canoes travel down river all day. Pack a picnic lunch to enjoy, too. It is also perfect for swimming. We are a short drive to STORY LAND, MOUNT WASHINGTON AUTO ROAD OR COG RAILWAY and lots more.

About Doug or Dennise Hayes

My name is Doug and I am a retired Police Captain and my wife Dennise is a retired Special Ed teacher. We had been coming to the Valley for over 30 years. About 14 years ago we decided to invest and bought several units in this neighborhood. We cannot ask for a better location. All the Inn keepers and vacation property owners all pitch in and help one another. We love it here.

Why Doug or Dennise Hayes chose White Mountains

We bought this property mainly due to its rich local history and convenience to down town. Our family loves to hike and ski. The history in short is that Otto Tschol came here from St. Anton, Arlberg, Austria and built this Chalet with the help of local builders. He was one of many ski instructors who came here to escape Nazi control, and worked for Hannes Schneider's Eastern Slope Ski School at Cranmore Mountain. We have many artifacts if you are interested.

We also have a 3-season porch that includes a newer futon couch, a leather recliner love seat and a glass-top/wood table that seats four where you can enjoy your coffee in the morning or the afternoon sun. This is our second unit in the neighborhood. Our friends also have numerous units here as well. We can accommodate large groups all within walking distance between us. Please inquire.

Great Place in a Great Location by Great People!!!!!!!

This was our third year staying here and we will continue to return. The location is perfect. Just a short walk and your down on the main strip with lots of restaurants and shopping options. Go the other way and your at Cranmore Mtn. There are even Outlets a short car ride away. The Chalet has everything you need and then some. If you don't see something you need just ask Doug or Dennise, they probably have it. Doug and Dennise are great people and easy to deal with. We will see you next year

Just perfect!

First of all the house was so clean and everything you could possibly need was provided for you. Doug and Dennise are beyond welcoming and friendly, we literally felt like we were at home, just in a much more relaxing woody setting. The house is tucked away and just private enough for relaxing but within walking distance of the main strip in town. They were so inviting and wonderful to our dog Jacob - no pet fee and they allow him on furniture with dog blankets (which were so soft he wouldn't lay down without one). Anyone concerned about them being right on the floor above you, it was like they weren't even there, except when we needed something which was great! We had a super small issue with wifi on our first day and Doug went out of his way to go to the services office and get the wifi upgraded and working great for us within less than 12 hours! I can honestly say I've never rented from anyone that dedicated to making my experience the best. Another item I was pleasantly surprise about was the enclosed patio - I didn't realize how beautiful it would be in the morning; we ate breakfast/had coffee there every morning and it was absolutely the most relaxing way to start your day. Overall I can just say that I am more than impressed and given they have additional properties in the same block we will definitely return!

Quaint

Loved, loved this place, it was perfect for all our needs. After all the years coming to N Conway wish we had found this place first. Its roomy, clean, very well stocked with everything you need! Great location to downtown and Cranmore Mtn. This will be my new "Home away from home" when visiting N. Conway. Thank you and hope to see you again next year. Happy New Year!

Wonderful Stay!

We just returned from the beautiful White Mountains and this home was PERFECT for us. It was immaculately cleaned, was very dog friendly, and had bunk beds for our two young children. The owners were very friendly and laid back. The kitchen had everything we needed for all the meals we cooked at home. It is in walking distance to downtown which is really nice and all the hiking trails you could ever want! The only thing to know is that it is the basement of the owners home, not a separate house (they have others like that) There was never a noise problem or anything, I just missed this somehow so a tip for anyone who wants a detached home. It was a perfect value and we definitely hope to return!

Outstanding Vacation and Location

I have been going to North Conway for over 30 years, but have never stayed in the Downtown area. My wife and I were looking for something close to the lakes, walking distance to Downtown etc... When we arrived at Doug and Dennise place, I immediately noticed how well kept the apartment was, how clean the bathroom and kitchen were as well. Dennise made sure to introduce herself to us immediately and eventually when I had the chance, I was able to speak with Doug as well. They take pride in making sure their guests are taken care of and offer to do anything to make the stay more enjoyable. For those looking for a place where you have all the comforts of home, this is the place. Plenty of towels, clean linens and a kitchen fully stocked. I honestly can't say enough good things about this place and would recommend it to anyone. My wife and I, along with our kids will more than likely book another week next summer.

We are in North Conway Village. (Mount Washington Valley). Hiking trails surround us and the crystal clear Saco River is a half mile away. A 5-minute walk to Cranmore Ski area in one direction or 7 Bars and Restaurants and Schouler Park in the other. We are right in the middle.We have 4th of July fireworks every year and

Craft Fairs several times a year, Chili cook-offs, Mud football in the fall (weekend after Labor Day), Summer Concerts and First Night festivities are held in Schouler Park and Cranmore Mountain. Also located in the Village is the Eastern Slope Play- house where plays are held all year long. North Conway Country Club is also right there next to the Conway Scenic Railroad Station. The local public library in Conway always lists activities for children and has a nice children's room with computers and a play area. There is also a Children's Museum for rainy day fun.
