The cabin was quirky, cute, clean, and deliciously different. Suitable for people who fit that same description. Can't wait to return!
Let me start by saying that we LOVED the satellite bungalow. It was the perfect quaint size for our romantic getaway. It was stocked with a great assortment of the basic necessities, and let me say that it was by far the MOST comfortable bed I have ever slept on! It was all amazing. Grace is so kind and shared a ton of great info on the area and left a lovely bottle of wine to enjoy. All of this is definitely worth a 5 star rating.
The reason I gave it 4 stars is that I was unclear when I booked this stay that the property is shared so closely. Perhaps I did not read enough. The bungalow is so amazing but being so close to another bungalow and sharing the hot tub, fire pit, and courtyard was not ideal for a romantic getaway. The houses are rather close and they do not have very private blinds or shades. This probably isn't a problem for most; I simply wish I had fully understood that before we arrived. So next time, I'll be sure to read everything.
Though, with all that said, it is an adorable, very well kept property. The hot tub was very nice and clean and under the string lights in the courtyard, it was quite magical. The fire pit is very large and has an awesome hammock chair in a tree right by the pit....makes for a very relaxing night under the stars.
If you do not mind close proximity to another family, I HIGHLY recommend this property!
We enjoyed every inch of our bungalow and needed no more space then provided. We slept peacefully away from the noise and lights of the city in which we live. We were able to leave electronics behind and reconnect with each other and it was wonderful and relaxing. The comforts which were provided were very thoughtful such as the coffee and teas, homemade body washes and bath salts, eclectic decor. I could have lived in the cast iron soaking tub but also enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit in the evenings after awesome days of hiking all the near buy mountains, water falls, state parks which are plentiful. We definitely plan on a return trip. The only change we would make would be to rent both properties for optimal privacy.
We had a wonderful time. The place was perfect for what we needed and can't wait to book it again!
We had a relaxing getaway at the satellite bungalow. It is the perfect, cozy retreat. We didn't get to enjoy much of the outdoors because of freezing rain, but I hope to return in warmer months! We had everything we needed and the decor makes it even more enjoyable!
Thank you, Grace, for a nice stay!
Thank you for everything! From the bright colors all over the property to the fire pit, hot tub, and complimentary bottle of wine, I can't say enough good things about this little bungalow.
