Beautiful stay

  • 5 of 5

Traveling late at night from upstate ny we arrived around midnight. The house was fully equipped and we needed nothing. The house is absolutely beautiful. We appreciate it being pet friendly. It's back in the woods and you can hear the loons on the water after dark. It's quiet and private. The care taker is on call with any issues. It's an hour to Freeport and Portland. Ten minutes to downtown bridgton. Such a great trip. We can't wait to return.

Good condition, nice and quiet

Great spot, would definitely recommend to friends. Cabin was well done, not cheap. Would like to come back again. House keeping was just ok, could be improved.

Amazing Place to Stay

  • 5 of 5

We were on a road trip visiting Maine, Vermont and Upstate New York. I am really happy that we found this gem!

The place:

The property was very clean and neat (as described and shown in pictures). It is very spacious. The location is quiet and in middle of woods which you would love. Lake is couple hundreds feet away and there is almost zero passing by on the road (there is only 1 or 2 cabins until the end of the dead-end road so do not expect that much traffic and noise. The property was very cozy and fully equipped. If you want to cook or grill everything is available. We also did star gazing at night as the area is very dark at night.

We loved the place very much so we changed our travel plans to stay one additional night in this beautiful property.

Bethany was very helpful and responsive. She usually answered our questions very quickly and also was very cooperative as our schedule changed a little bit throughout the trip.

All in all I would definitely recommend this property.

Beautiful Chalet

  • 5 of 5

8 of us stayed at Moose Lodge for 2 nights to go skiing. It is just beautifully tucked away in the woods and private, but not far from town and Shawnee Peak. The two couples each had a comfortable bedroom and the 4 kids slept upstairs in the open loft area on two nice twin beds and a pull out sofa. So it was just the right amount of space. (Pull out couch in the loft is not great, so I would recommend you bring an air mattress)

The kitchen had everything we needed and was open to the living room so that everyone could be together at once. (We did not find any baking sheets to heat things up with in the oven, so you may want to bring your own)

Overall, Moose Lodge was a great weekend getawa spot and we would go back In a heart beat.
