We loved your place!

  • 5 of 5

Thanks for sharing your lovely home with us! My whole family enjoyed our stay at your place! Great amenities that included a hot tub, swing set for my 2 year old granddaughter, canoe, paddle boat & kayak for water fun. My son-in-law caught several catfish & carp close to your place. The only issue we had was with the lake bottom being mushy. Otherwise, we loved our time at your place & all the extras you had around the kitchen to make out trip much easier. your fire pit was so relaxing & peaceful in the evenings.

Thanks for a lovely & memorable summer vacation!

If you are looking to pay an extra fee after checking out then stay here. The property manager at first offered to call if any concerns especially to clean the nasty hot tub. When I called her because the water got green after the first day she had such an attitude and hesitated so much to come do her job. At the end we cleaned the best we could and followed all rental agreement instructions, and we still got a "clean up fee" which is her job as a property manager. Honestly if you are looking for a rental property, stay somewhere else even next door and you will have a better experience. The house was very poorly equipped and not impressive.

Owner's Response: While the guests were in the home, I received three separate phone calls, one at 12:45 A.M. from neighbors complaining that the guests were being very loud and blaring their music. The hot tub had to be emptied and cleaned twice after they used it. It looked as if they had bathed in it. The property manager had to clean up used condoms throughout the property. The guests requested to stay late on the day of check out to finish "cleaning" up after themselves. They left garbage, bottles, bottle caps and dirty dishes and USED CONDOMS everywhere. In the three years we have rented our home out, I have never charged the additional cleaning fee. This is the first guest that left the place so disgusting that I had no choice but to charge him. The payment has not been made yet either. Home owners beware-do not rent to this guest. Please see our other reviews and you will see this is the first time we have received a poor review. Kind of a coincidence that the only poor review was left by the only guest to ever leave the house so trashed that I had to charge an additional fee to clean up after them.

Relaxing and peaceful getaway

  • 4 of 5

We enjoyed our time at the home and spent 95% of our time outside. The weather was perfect. Lots of fishing and fires and hot tub time. My husband caught many channel and flathead catfish. Not much to do in town, a few shops and bars, but pretty quiet. We did drive to a cheese factory one day. We wanted to rent a pontoon but no one locally rents so we used the paddle boat and kayak a few times. The home had everything we needed and then some- well stocked kitchen and linens.

Fantastic vacation home!

  • 5 of 5

The spot on the lake was private yet gave us complete access. Having the canoe, paddle boat, and kayak available got us all out on the water and having fun. Being able to come off the water and sit in the hot tub was not only heavenly but possible the reason my muscles still worked the next day. My kids and I loved it and can't wait to go back!

Perfect location

  • 5 of 5

The house is small inside, but cozy. What a perfect location for a woman's get away. The bar outside by the hot tub was a great gathering place. The fire pit down by the water was so relaxing. Watching the beautiful sunset was breathtaking. We loved being able to walk to Karen's, only .03 miles away.

Home with everything you need

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed our stay very much over Christmas. The house had everything we needed and more, which made our travels from Florida easier. During our stay we were hit with a snow storm and Todd came out right away and cleared the snow. The hot tub was the best part, helped keep us Floridians warm. Thank you for sharing your home.
