David purchased this condo in 2004
I bought this condo when I moved to Austin because of its location. I actually owned 2 identical units and lived in the other for 2 years by myself and another 2 years with my wife. We sold the one we lived in after we started a family but kept this one as a rental property. Decided to switch it to a short term rental after seeing how hard it was to find a place to stay in downtown Austin.
I loved this unit in the condo because of the courtyard you walk into when you leave the unit plus the fact that you only share 1 wall with a neighbor.
David's place was very clean and comfortable. I loved being so close to everything I needed and only needed to actually drive somewhere once during my 4 day stay. It was well equipped and I was able to cook my own meals. I really enjoyed my stay. Thanks David!
It was a great place and location and amenities for the price.
We have stayed here before and love the convenience and walk ability of the location.
If you're looking for a quiet place, this may not be it on Friday and Saturday nights. This is a one bedroom condo in a complex that seems to cater to travelers, and the young party crowd. It's close to 6th Street , which is THE bustling boozing tourist area, and around the corner from Austin City Limits, other well known music venues , Second Avenue shopping, great restaurants, and public transportation. An ideal location for all of the above. We had a great time in Austin but did not have a good night's sleep. A small price to pay.
The bus system was easy to use.
The property was in walking distance to the best music and dining downtown. The property was clean and well maintained.
