About Todd M.

My name is Todd and I was born and raised in SC. I went to the College of Charleston where I fell in love with Folly Beach. I became a Realtor and when I found this property I knew it was the perfect fit. I've done a lot to make it everything it can be, but am always looking to improve and ask each guest for their comments and suggestions. Offering the best experience for each guest is my number one concern,

Great place with easy access to a lot of sight-seeing

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I had never been to Charleston and wanted a place that was close to nature, as well as various tourist sites. We were very pleased with this apartment. It was super-clean. I was impressed with that. Having a washer and dryer in the apartment was also very helpful. Basic staples and supplies were very adequate: cooking utensils, dinnerware, etc. We enjoyed watching the tide come in and out. There was also a tide chart in the apt so we could figure out when it was safe to kayak without getting stranded during low-tide! There is a grocery store (Harris Teeters) near the apartment which was handy. Using this as a home-base we went to Folly Beach a couple of times, into downtown Charleston several times (a very easy commute), and to McLeod Plantation (nearby) and Magnolia Plantation (also not a huge drive). Mc Lead Plantation was our favorite experience - a meaningful, honest, historically accurate view of plantation life. Todd was very responsive, sent out exceedingly clear instructions, and seemed ready to accommodate any of our unmet needs. We had none.

We would definitely stay here again were we to spend time in Charleston in the future.

Superior to a hotel room.

An excellent choice to vacation. A very quiet neighborhood within a short drive to downtown Charleston or Folly

Beach. Home is very well equipped with all necessities and offers a very relaxing view of the marsh at the end of

the day...perfect for cocktails before dinner. Todd's major concern is about you and your family having a great

vacation. If any concerns arise, he responds within 15 minutes!

A lovely oasis in a great location

  • 5 of 5

We wanted to have a pleasant week away--two parents and two teenagers--and this was a great choice. This rental is the ground floor of what seems to be a modified carport--very low ceilings, for example--have to be careful taking a shirt off or you might get a hand whacked by a fan. But the space is comfortable, bright, and situated in a really beautiful spot on the water. The tide comes up within ten feet of the house and then rolls out perhaps 50 yards. When it's out it's teeming with crabs; when it's in, it's great to take one of the kayaks out for a spin.

Everything was very well maintained in the house. We had a couple of minor issues (a light burned out, some wasps tried to take up residence out back) that were taken care of immediately. It was so nice being able to do laundry as needed. The bed was large and comfortable. My son slept on the fold-out sofa (soft like most are) and my daughter slept on a blow-up mattress. There was plenty of room for that and for relaxing, watching tv, or sitting out back.

As others have pointed out, the parking pass was wonderful to have. The beach is about a 5-minute drive. And it's so easy to wander into Charleston. Just a perfect location where you can find quiet when you need it and find something to do just minutes away.

Excellent vacation and would recommend to anyone.

Very impressed. Great location and so much to do just at the house. We loved kayaking and bicycling around as well as catching quite a few crabs right off the dock and cooking them up, cannot get any fresher than that. The beach pass came in really handy. We would definitely stay here again and hope everyone else that stays feels the same.
