Smelly, dark and disappointing
The smell upon entering the condo was bad, bad enough that we decided cut our trip short and go home a day early rather than spend the night again with the stink. At first we thought maybe it was just because it had been shut up for a while but it never got better. It smells like musty dog urine. The owner was contacted and assured us that she went over there after we left and she didn’t smell “anything weird”. But since there are several new reviews now that comment on the smell, I find it hard to believe that she was unaware of the odor.
It’s a dark little studio (suitable for 2 people) that with a little bit of love could be very nice; a professional painter and some better lighting would go a long way. The bed is very firm and the couch reminds me of the futon that I had in college. The kitchen had all the basic amenities needed. Special attention should be paid to ensuring the dishes in the dishwasher are actually clean before placing them in the cabinet. 3 of the coffee cups had coffee rings in the bottom, and lip gloss on the edge and 2 of the plates were clearly not clean.
