Beachfront convenience
Location is great. Right on the beach overlooking the gulf. You get to see the beautiful sunsets. It’s a little farther from the main busy part of town but that was why we chose this location, as it’s a lot quieter and main section of town was still only 5-10min walk. Clearwater grocery store was a 10min drive away. Covered parking was appreciated as well.
The. Building itself is a bit older but in ok shape. They were fixing the pool when we arrived so we couldn’t use it but they had fixed it on our last day. The unit itself is nicely decorated and very homey. It’s clear the owners still use it time to time. They had renovated the kitchen very nicely, and a little bit of the bathroom which is acceptable. The unit has lots of space.
Although cleaners do come in and clean, they don’t really do a good job, parts of floors were missed and dirty and lots of dust around the home. Mostly it was acceptable and we just vacuumed ourselves after arrived. My biggest issue was the washing machine, the door was left closed and there was a bad mildew and associated smell in the machine. We ended up cleaning it out with bleach several times before we washed our clothes in it. Mentioned this to the owner so hopefully the cleaners can leave the door to washer open to let it dry in betweeen uses.
The amenities was fantastic, they had everything needed for the kitchen, washrooms. They had lots of beach chairs, toys, umbrellas, even cooler that can be used.
Overall great stay.
