The neighbourhood is family friendly with parks right next door, cafes and restaurants within walking distance and friendly neighbours. We also live in the neighbourhood so we are close by to answer any questions or point you in the right direction.
The apartment is right in the middle of Little Italy. Everything is within walking distance including restaurants , bars, cafes, galleries, Sam James Coffee House, Starbucks, grocery stores, pharmacy, liquor store and public transit.
Hopefully you're not on a diet because the restaurant choices are varied and hard to resist. Everything from 5 star to local legends are close by for your dining pleasure. Choose from veal sandwiches that are bigger than your head to menus filled with locally sourced ingredients prepared and plated by some of Toronto's finest culinary artisans. The folks that make the veal sandwiches are artists as well, just a different kind of art.
Some of Toronto's greatest neighbourhoods are also nearby including Little Korea, Chinatown, The Annex, Trinity Bellwoods and Little Portugal. From here you can easily get to the Royal Ontario Museum, the Art Gallery of Ontario, and of course the CN Tower.
It's all about neighbourhood living here when you stay at Posh Digs. You're still downtown and close to everything but you're not surrounded by cold glass towers. Instead your surrounded by parks, treelined streets and friendly faces you'll come to recognize after a few walks around the block.

We've lived and worked in downtown Toronto for most of our lives. Our kids go to school in the neighbourhood and keep us pretty busy when we're not working our regular day jobs in marketing.
We personally manage our short term rentals because we really like doing it. Plus it's convenient as our suites are just around the corner from our actual home.
Arthur purchased this apartment in 2002
Our properties are all in older homes in the established neighbourhood of Little Italy in downtown Toronto. We've updated all of our suites to make them as modern and comfortable as possible while still keeping the charm of a house.
Every major attraction, or 5 star restaurant is no more than 15 minutes away or less.
We love the neighbourhood for a lot of reasons. So much is in walking distance. You don't need to a car, unless you're going to Niagara Falls or any other day trips out of town. Everything else is a short cab ride away. And public transit is also nearby and convenient.
We were very pleased with our stay at Arthur's place. My wife is from Toronto, and so we knew that we would be in a very cool, walkable neighbourhood. The apartment was amazing! Just perfect for our little family, and a good deal at the price they have it listed for. Clean and well cared for with new appliances, comfortable beds, plenty of closet space, air conditioning in the middle of a hot Toronto week, but plenty of window ventilation if desired. Washer and dryer were a big help as we have a little kid, and it was also really nice to have a big washbasin to bathe our toddler as he is still afraid of the shower. All in all a great stay, and we will definitely be looking to stay here again when we return!
In town on business and much prefential to hotel....no need for car or cab as walking and transit to alll....just what I needed
We really enjoyed our 2-night stay. My four other girl friends loved the place. That was great since it isn't always easy to accommodate everyone's tastes. We probably spent more time inside than anticipated since it was so cozy there.
Great location...handy to the things we were going to downtown...terrific little coffee shop right across the street.
It was clean, tastefully updated...a totally modern, well-equiped kitchen that we really appreciated. Owners left great info regarding restaurants in the area. Overall, it was just perfect for 5 of us to have a great weekend away!
This place was a great base for my family to explore Toronto's famous attractions in one week. With three-generation family like us (3 young kids, 1 senior, me and my husband), we walked to Kensington Market and Chinatown; took subway to Toronto downtown & Cosa Loma; drove easily to the Zoo and Science center. We didn't have problem with parking (with sticker applied by Arthur). By the way, Arthur is warm and responsive.
One suggestion is that the bedrooms need darker window treatment which I think Arthur mentioned that he would replace the current white paper soon. Also if you travel with young ones, you need to bring a stepstool as the bathroom sink is pretty high. This unit will be great for a family with maximum 5 people as the dining area is hard to fit 6 (but we managed of course as we didn't spend a lot of time inside). Also ear plugs may be needed if you are a light sleeper as Harbord street can be pretty busy and it could be noisy with young peoples nearby too.
All in all, our family had a great time with location like this. We plan to be back after several years and surely will stay here.
Little Italy is a vibrant fun neighbourhood. There's a great mix of old and new. A recent wave of young families from diverse backgrounds have moved in to bring a fresh new vibe to the area. Cool coffee shops, share space with 5 star dining. and funky bars. Everything is within walking distance. Toronto's greatest attractions are all close by including the AGO, ROM, CN Tower, ACC, China Town, Little Korea, and Kensington Market. Niagara falls is an hour and half drive away.
