Wonderful place to get away.

Our family had a great time on our vacation at the home. The house was well maintained and comfortable. The kids joyed Kayaking and fishing. The wife and I enjoyed the peace and quiet. Everyone one was so nice, I spoke to the neighbors across the rivers everyday and everyone was helpful. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was the fallen tree had the yard in disarray but that was no problem for me.

Outside activities were great, but the inside was lower than our expectations

  • 3 of 5

Overall it was a good experience. The lake was great. Kayaks, paddle boats and a nice dock. My son caught over a dozen blue gill. The fire pit and bbq and outdoor dining was really nice.

But the inside was definitely below our expectations. There is no washer and dryer! And no dishwasher. The kitchen was not well stocked. The internet access was spotty. The house wasn't very clean. And the house was always damp and smelled funny.

The owner was very nice and helpful.

Comfortable Bed and living area. Kitchen had everything we needed. Loved the deck we spent most of our time there. Beautiful place right on the lake. Fishing was outstanding. Kayaking was beautiful.

Nice house on the lake

  • 4 of 5

My husband and I had a great time, along with our traveling birds at this lake house. It was clean, has a fantastic yard right on the lake. They provide kayaks (great amenity) but we brought our own, which we also take to other lakes. Bike riding is nearby, so nice and clean house to stay at for those enjoying nature. The inside was slightly dark, but we were outside most of the time, including for some meals. Everything you need is pretty much at this home available to the guests. Our thanks to our host.

Clean, comfortable.. Homey!

  • 4 of 5

We were a family of 7 who enjoyed our time at the cottage. The fenced yard was great for the kids and family pet... Although we wished there was a little more sand at the dock area. The beach was a short paddle boat ride away... The location was convenient to golf courses, shopping and activities. The only downside we found was the fact that it's only the main level

of the cottage for use.. 2 bedrooms, living room/kitchen and bathroom..small area for

5 adults, 2 kids and a dog... but overall we enjoyed our stay and are looking forward to coming back for more R&R when schedules permit.

  • 3 of 5

good tv selections, good internet (which was down for about an hour every evening), nice summer house, generous kitchen supplies and towels. lake was nice and calm once you were out on it. no beach at house, no lakefront play area, squishy entrance onto the lake. kayaks were great.
