In a quiet area at the foot of Mont Ventoux lies Aubignan Bleu, a refurbished seventeenth century farmhouse in the midst of vines, olive, cypress and fruit trees and kiwi groves overlooking the Loriol village steeple. The property faces west and provides a grand display of the Provencal sunset every evening. Sight seeing recommendations include Isle Sur La Sorgue or Avignon where you can explore the rich French history. Or you can just relax at home and enjoy the sweet feelings of the fresh country air.
The grounds at Aubignan Bleu feature a pristine, square swimming pool surrounded by a lush manicured lawn equipped with sun loungers. The alfresco dining area offers splendid pastoral views. Indoors, you will find a home entertainment system, Wi-Fi access and baby equipment on request. Take advantage of the villas pre-stocking option for ultimate convenience during your reservation.
The rooms of this property are all bright and colorful, bearing elegantly flowered fabrics. The large living room that opens out to the alfresco dining area and beautifully tendered lawns, has a grand piano, especially useful for moments of musical whimsy. The entire house is very French, very homey, yet unpretentious with a certain consideration for children. The indoor dining areas, for their part, are altogether quite stately.
Five tastefully decorated bedrooms invite up to ten guests at Aubignan Bleu. All of the bedrooms include en-suite bathrooms and ceiling fans. Though classic in decor, the villa is family friendly without the many fragile objects often found in other villas in this area. Fine linens foster peaceful nights of sleep.
Cycling enthusiasts often refer to Mount Ventoux as the hardest of all the epic Tour de France climbs. During your stay at Aubignon Bleu, you too will see what makes this area of Provence so breathtaking. North from Avignon, along a scenic journey, lies the town of Orange where you can discover the ruins of an ancient Roman Theatre built in the first century. Culture, history, fine wine and cuisine come to a merry arrangement at Aubignan Bleu.

We loved the villa - full of character and comfort and style. It was a pleasure to stay there and the outdoor area was lovely too. We all enjoyed the pool during the hot weather. It was perfect for a group of cyclists such as ours who wanted to ride up Mont Ventoux.
The mas is a wonderful house for a relaxing family holiday. Peaceful, quiet location (apart from the occasional motorcycle on the nearby canal towpath!), yet within easy driving distance of lots of nice places. Our family is very well-travelled, but they all thought the house was a special kind of place. Obviously cared for by the owners. We also much appreciated the help provided by Patricia and Betty.
This is a gorgeous property, villa beautifully furnished with lots of character and space. The gardens and pool area are just beautiful. Pierrot and Marino looked after us well. Our second stay, and am sure we will be back.
