Five Star Apartment

  • 5 of 5

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful and sophisticated Parisian apartment. You can tell that it was designed with love and very good taste.

Dealing with David while making the arrangements and getting the arrival information was very smooth. He was easy to communicate with and very helpful in every aspect of our reservation process. The host was there to help and gave us all of the information we needed to have a wonderful visit.

I agree with everyone who says the apartment has great storage. We used the washer, dryer and dishwasher, which were very nice to have. We enjoyed the Nespresso espresso maker and all of the thoughtful creature comforts.

We ate at many wonderful restaurants. We referred to the owner assembled guide, often, for good restaurants in the area. One of our favorite restaurants was Bread and Roses, 25 rue Boissy D Anglas, 75008. We would definitely return.

Also, we hired (Camille's) My Private Paris for touring. She also arranged for a driver from the airport upon arrival and to the train station for our departure. I highly recommend this company.

Delivers the Paris Experience!

  • 5 of 5

Fantastic location with a nice view of the Seine at Pont Neuf and just a block from the Louvre. Easy access to multiple Metro stops and a quick walk across the river to the Left Bank. The apartment itself is very spacious, a real rarity in Paris and was spotless. In addition, it is artfully decorated in true Parisian fashion. A little quirky, but that's a big part of it's charm.

David, the Owner/Manager, was very helpful before and very attentive during our stay. The check in process was well coordinated and the hostess was very thorough. The complimentary champagne and bowl of fruit were great additions and a nice way to start things off. This was our 4th visit to Paris and overall this was the best apartment yet.

Where form meets function!

  • 5 of 5

Our stay at this flat was a dream come true! Communication leading up to our stay was clear and concise. Check in went very well and the owners emailed twice during our week long stay to make sure we were okay and to wish us a Happy Bastille Day.

When we entered the flat it took our breath away! I had searched thousands of rentals looking for the perfect rental that had the central location that we wanted, the style I desired and the capability to accommodate my 6'8" husband. It did not disappoint.

You absolutely cannot beat the location as the flat is literally in the center of Paris, one block from the Louvre. The flat is three floors up without an elevator which we were aware of, but being 3 floors up also made it very quiet and peaceful even on a busy street. The bedroom is also located in the back where you cannot hear any street noise. I didn't mind a little street noise & liked to sit in the window, sip champagne and watch. The view is incredible. Located above many shops and restaurants we found the servers in the crepe shop directly below to be very friendly. I think it would be possible to stay a week and never leave the block. Also very close to the buses and metro. The Calife dinner boat cruise which we would recommend was a 5 minute walk across the bridge and our bike tour meet up spot was just 10 minutes away.

The flat was spotless and well appointed. There is an abundance of storage which was greatly appreciated. Although there is a dish washer for dishes and laundry for towels we didn't use either until the end of our stay as there was an abundance of both. The only items I would recommend would be adding in a dish cloth and dish towel. I always seemed to get crumbs everywhere any time I sliced a baguette. I loved the beautiful cutlery and china

The flat was a good size for us, particularly my very tall husband. The only short spots were the gold powder room & passage between bedroom & bathroom but he didn't have to spend much time in either area. The king size bed was greatly appreciated and downright enormous as well as very romantic. The living and dining area are both very spacious.

Last but not least this flat is absolutely beautiful! The design and styling is very well done making for a truly luxurious stay. Should we ever visit Paris again we know exactly where we would want to stay!

Fancy, Fun and Functional

  • 5 of 5

This was a lovely (and indulgent!) experience! We had Parisian relatives come for dinner just to see the view!! The kitchen works very well, the bedroom is luxurious, the gold toilets are hilarious, and well, the view, the view, we never tired of it... The flat steward was very helpful, and overall there was not an iota out of place. We'll rent this place again (just as soon as we hit the lottery!).

Absolutely perfect!

  • 5 of 5

This gorgeous apartment was perfect! It was even more beautiful in person than the pictures could convey on line. When you come up the stairs in the building and open the door to the apartment, you have to take a breath and perhaps giggle with delight. The decor is modern while welcoming, and the view from the windows onto the Seine is spectacular day or night. The host even had a bottle of Champagne in the refrigerator for us, a bowl of fresh fruit and little cookies for us to munch on.

The place has everything you could possibly want; lots of space and an incredible view!! Something you don't often find in Paris hotels..... From a fully appointed kitchen to a washer and dryer, a huge soaking tub and that king size round bed! The headboard has a built-in Champagne bucket!! We have been to Paris many times as we have family there, but this was beyond our expectations. Everything was clean, organized and so well appointed. When we looked at hotels and saw the amenities and rooms versus this was no contest.

Upon arrival to the apartment is a dossier full of information: restaurants, transportation suggestions, museum info and pretty much any thing you would want to know about the area. You are located in the middle of the city at a stone's throw from the Louvre and Notre Dame and the Saint Chapelle. There are so many excellent restaurants in the neighborhood that you can pop into for a most incredible meal. And I say this because my husband and I are French trained Chefs and we found wonderful places everywhere. If you can go to "Le Petit Machon" (158 Rue Saint Honore, 75001) do it!! One of our finds this time...

Alas, I give this place a 20 star rating!!!!....kind of like when you find a wonderful "secret" place that's fantastic and you want to keep for yourself. But I do have to say that when we come back to the City of Lights and Love, we will hopefully be found at this address. If it is available.....;-)
