Space
7th Floor, high ceiling, 3 bedroom, large panoramic living room, wooden deck terrace, secure penthouse for rent welcomes you. The apartment houses 6 people in 3 king Size beds. It has a comfortable spacious living room, a dinner table for 8pax and a sunny wooden decked terrace with unparalleled view to Park and Castillo de Chapultepec. It also has a studio facing the city and a fully equipped kitchen. If desired, a cook is available to make breakfast or lunch and leave some cooked dishes for dinner. The apartment is of wooden floors. It has an eclectic decoration. Ranging from wooden antiques, leather couches, fabric reposée, polyurethane over leather main table and Mexican painting canvas on the wall, among diverse antique political posters and pictures. There is two 40 inch cable plasma TVs, a DVD, a Stereo System for Ipod, Internet (WIFI 20mbps and a 6mbps back up) and speakers on the terrace. There is one indoor parking space and 24hr security personnel. There is Ecobici (public bikes) less then a block away (One must register in advance with a credit card). The subway stop Juanacatlán is two blocks away. The Metrobus (bus that transits like a subway) 8 blocks away. Public buses run a block away, but I do not recommend those unless you want to have an adventurous exotic ride. Breakfast can be arranged most of the time for 40usd + groceries.

Guests will have access to everything the apartment has. One Parking Space, Security guard, trustworthy Nanny on demand (40usd), Cook on demand (40usd), Driver (not always available), WIFI, Cable TV and all the Books in the house!
Guest interaction
Doña Inés, the apartments care taker, is the most direct contact, but I am always available online. I try to welcome personally all of my hosts. When I´m not in Mexico City one of my family members will welcome you.
Neighborhood overview
San Miguel Chapultepec is one of the nicest neighborhoods to live in now a days... why? Situated in Colonia San Miguel Chapultepec it is in the center of mayor activity, comercial and cultural areas in Mexico City. Comercial Zone Polanco, Cultural and Gastronomic Condesa, Night Live Colonia Roma, are just 10 minutes away by car. Cultural Coyoacán, Old Town San Ángel and Zocalo Old Quarter are just 20 minutes away either by taxi or Subway. Subway (Juanacatlán) is a block away and so are a couple coffee shops, deli market, street tacos, tortas and Sanborn´s Mexican Food Chain. Supermarket is three blocks away. It is full of trees, safe and carries a tranquil environment. It maintains the old spirit with specialized shops all around. There are 3 coffee shops in the surrounding blocks. Juice stand, quesadillas stand and a Deli shop with vegan food and small production beer and wine shop. The market is a few blocks away, where one can eat or buy groceries. Supermarket is a few blocks away as well. The Chapultepec Park is a few blocks away and so is the Castle and Museum... definitely a touristic attraction.

Taxi on call, Public bikes, Metrobus and Subway. Basically all transport available from a few blocks around the apartment.
Other things to note
The elevator goes up to the sixth Floor. From there 14 steps take you to the seventh floor 14 steps

Mexico City - Penthouse Stay
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Leon's penthouse apartment. The view towards the park and Chapultepec office towers is spectacular from both the living/dining room and terrace. The main public spaces are decorated with eclectic/artistic objects and we felt as if we were staying in a good friend's well lived-in place. The condition of the public areas was very good, however the same quality of finish and decoration does not extend to the bedrooms and associated bathrooms. These areas could use some simple upgrades to match the quality of the public zone. Note that although it has three rooms with beds, the third bedroom is an original study that opens off the main living room and faces the terrace. The glazed wall onto the terrace from this room has vertical blinds that need repair so that this room cannot really be completely private. Although the unit is not air conditioned, we were pleasantly surprised at how cool it was despite the very extensive glazing. I expect fans may be required in warmer weather. This is not a luxurious apartment but a very charming and authentic one and we recommend it as a great base for exploring this rapidly gentrifying part of the city.

Fantastic Stay!
Had a fantastic 10 days here! The Livingroom/Dining room area is beautiful with great views overlooking the city, felt great to wake up in the morning and watch the sun rise with a cup of coffee through the huge windows and high ceilings. The livingroom was super comfortable with plenty of space to sit and relax, and the bedrooms were perfectly comfortable. The location was an easy walk to the many many fantastic restaurants or to chapultepec park. Finally León was very helpful and responsive, and the staff at the gated entry to the building were always quick and friendly whenever we were heading in/out. Would love to come back and highly recommend!

Fun and Unique Apartment for an Adventure in Mexico City
Leon was an attentive host and he referred me to an excellent tour guide. The apartment is spacious and the location is good, with the Chapultepec Park close and hidden restaurants to surprise all around. The apartment felt safe and the gate guards welcoming and always available. Our visit to Mexico City was very satisfying with great food, museums, cooking classes, folkloric ballets, walks in the park and a tour of Teotihuacan. Fantastic!

Great location and very spacious
The apartment was great for our group stay. The overall condition of the apartment wasn’t as new as expected. The location was awesome and the neighborhood was very quiet. I would recommend to others but a bit pricey for the condition of the unit.

Hello, I´ve been studying and working abroad for a long time and just recently came back to my home 'town' Mexico City. I lived in Cancun, Madrid, Munich, Akumal and Connecticut. I am really happy to be back home and working on audiovisual productions, which turned from my hobby into my job. Although I don´t have a big family we balance it out with a lot of friends. I am currently using my spare time to travel through Mexico and get to know my Country better.

Why they chose this property

This property was acquired by my parents and passed down to me. I was born on this property so I do have a lot of love for it. As years went by and the city grew I was fortunate that San Miguel Chapultepec got to be one of the most beautiful residential areas and in one of the best places, since around it, many neighborhoods like Polanco, Condesa and Roma got really popular. San Miguel Chapultepec kept its quiet residential mood and it´s green surroundings. Take a look at the satellite picture.

What makes this property unique

The best thing the apartment has is the beautiful panoramic view to Castillo de Chapultepec and it´s high ceiling ample spaces.
