Waterfront home with dock located at the tip of Ockway bay that leads to open ocean (Nantucket Sound). Excellent vacation home that’s large enough for two families: 4 bedrooms (one has 2 sets of bunk beds); 3 full baths and one half; open concept living and dining space with wrapped around front porch giving you ¾ views of the ocean. Access to kayaks with a short paddle to the spit. 55' flat screen in living area with 40' in bunk bedrooms. AC; Pet friendly house.
Clean and private home on the Bay. We will return!
Not much of a writer but wanted everyone to know that this house is a great find. Donna D. Has written everything that I would've said in an earlier comment. Eric the owner went out of his way in making our son's wedding weekend stay the most enjoyable time for our family.
We stayed here for our daughter's wedding at the Popponsett Inn. The house was perfect. The bridal party got dressed here and there was plenty of room. The wrap around upper deck and the picture window at the breakfast bar gave us great water views for our enjoyment and photos. The bedrooms were large with very comfortable beds. The owner was very helpful with quick responses to our questions before and after. We were too busy with the wedding to enjoy all the amenities, like the kayaks, so I'm sure there may be a return visit in our future.
This is a stunning property with a spectacular view and plenty of room. Clean and comfortable. A wall of windows in the living/dining area and a mini sun room over the breakfast bar in the kitchen. The other guests with me were impressed with my great 'find'. I would recommend this place to anyone!
The property was very nice. The views were great and with all the windows around the house, it was just always catching your attention. There was wifi as well as kayaks and bikes available for our use which was another huge plus. The guys were able to kayak to a nice beach. The owner was readily available and generously worked with us regarding arrival and departure times... I would say, though, that the house could use some updating. The kitchen stove is quite old and the dining room chairs were ripped from much wear and tear. But those are my only complaints and all in hall, the house was a perfect choice for a group of couples.
This was a return visit, so we knew what to expect: a great house in a fabulous location. The floor plan is ideal for entertaining or just relaxing. Whether inside the comfortable living room or out on the deck, the view defines "vacation."
The house has been almost completely renovated- 3 1/2 new bathrooms, A/C, new appliances, etc. Everything was spotless. A small but appreciated feature is that clean, quality linens were supplied, saving just that much space in packing for our visit.
You could spend a week here going to the beach, kayaking, walking, and biking and never leave have to travel routes 6 or 28. All the restaurants and shopping of Mashpee Commons are 5 minutes away, and access to other parts of the Cape is easy.
