Property was nice but dirty

  • 2 of 5

The outside of this property was dirty with cobwebs everywhere : which spiders were everywhere and with kids not that safe... The amount of debris on patio and all throughout lot/ doors both inside and out Made it very unattractive to our guests ... After hours of cleaning / and bringing in our own blower and bug sprays it ended up looking much more attractive

The plumbing in 3 bathrooms did not work from the first flush....

The sofas were all very dusty and had to be dusted out and cleaned. I paid a cleaning fee upon booking and still lost my deposit due to excessive trash after 4 days of staying there ( we cooked excessively ) and got penalized for excess trash even though the original clean up produced 4-5 heavy bags of trash that took up the trash can space... So overall the house itself is large enough to accommodate families but if your looking for a clean outdoor space with working plumbing and if you plan to create trash I would not suggest this property. The care taker was nice and accommodating on a pot/ air mattresses but clearly our definition of clean is not theirs. Upon check out we left all towels in the bathroom floor / a few dishes unwashed / and two kitchen cans not taken out due to no room in trash area. It's horrible that you have to clean upon entry and pay a cleaning fee yet have to clean fully upon exit.

Great weekend escape with my girlfriends!

  • 5 of 5

We had a great weekend at this house! We were a group of 14 girls (plus others who joined us for dinner or drinks) and this house and casita were perfect! We were celebrating the upcoming wedding of one of my best friends. The house was well appointed and had many bedrooms and bathrooms, plus lots of gathering areas. It was a great house to host a party in! We gathered in the evening outside around the fire pit. It was too warm to start the fire, but we enjoyed the outdoor space. The house was so cute and the furnishings and artwork were charming. JP and his manager, Joanna, were super helpful and great to work with. They made our stay easy and relaxing. Our group enjoyed some of the wineries in the Corrales area and a great dinner at Indigo Crow (a definite must). We just want to thank JP and Joanna for a great pre-wedding weekend!

A Perfect Weekend

  • 5 of 5

We had our family reunion of 13 people at this wonderfully renovated, historic Corrales home. We rented the house and the casita and had more than enough room for everyone. It was everything we expected and more. It was a great location to get out and do things, though the house and property were so warm and comfortable, we spent most of our time just hanging out and catching up with each other. It was a perfect weekend for a large family that doesn't get to see each other very often!

Wonderful Historic Home with room for large family

  • 5 of 5

This historic home provided a perfect place for our family to stay and celebrate Christmas. It had plenty of entertaining space and the beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed the unique furnishings and the historical aspects of this home. The owners were very helpful. This home had all the amenities needed for entertaining large groups. Our family from Santa Fe and Albuquerque loved visiting us here. The outdoor areas were just as wonderful. This home is a true Corrales gem.

Exceeded our expectations

  • 5 of 5

We stayed in this wonderful property during the Hot Air Balloon Festival. It easily accommodated our group of 7 adults, each bedroom was beautifully decorated with it's own private bath. There are 4 "living areas" enough space for everyone to have their privacy if needed. The kitchen is equipped with everything you could possibly need. The hot tub faces the mountains and has a wonderful view. We were so excited to wake up our first morning and see balloons flying over the house. At the end of the driveway is a wonderful church with an art exhibit of local artists, an added bonus. I would highly recommend this property.

This was our first stay at this property and it exceeded all of our expectations. We were in town for a memorial service and college graduation and we were able to sleep 8 people very comfortably. Would highly recommend for any type of family gathering etc. Any questions or concerns we had were handled by the property's manager quickly and effectively.

Corrales, voted by Money Magazine to be one of America's top 25 small towns, is a small, treasured oasis located near a fast-growing metropolitan area. The village is bordered on the east by the Rio Grande and, across the river, by the Sandia Indian Reservation. To the south is the City of Albuquerque, to the west and north is the City of Rio Rancho. The greater metropolitan area numbers over a half million people, but Corrales, about 7300 in population, retains a rural lifestyle. Photographers and artists come to Corrales for magnificent views of ancient cottonwoods, the many examples of adobe Pueblo architecture both old and new, for the gardens, irrigation acequias and family farms, and for the constantly changing play of the New Mexico light. It is a peaceful place, with interesting shops, wineries, world-class restaurants and wonderful, creative people, unique festivals, endless sports and outdoors activities, and extensive wildlife.
