About Thomas Sullivan

I was born in Florida, but presently reside in Rhode Island with my wife and our Labrador, Ruby. I have deep roots to Florida and the intercostal waters they provide. I grew up and spent many family reunions in Cape Canaveral and Cocoa. I hope you enjoy my home as much as I do!

Thomas Sullivan purchased this house in 2012

Why Thomas Sullivan chose Villa De Palmas

My family and I love the Space Coast! I could not have found a better home away from home. My family and I take pride in hosting and accommodating other families. Most guests compliment on the close proximity to the beach, shopping centers, restaurants, and water sport activities.

What makes this house unique

The waterway in the backyard is Sykes Creek and it is frequented by manatees. My home has a great view of Sykes Creek from the living room through the sunroom. It is a pleasure to take in the wildlife on the outside or screened in patio. You will hear the mullet and cat fish jump up and down the creek. Waking up in the morning to the water is a breath of fresh air. You may find yourself lucky to visiting porpoise dolphins as they make their way up the creek.

Amazing Family Retreat

  • 5 of 5

We loved the home and the amenities that it offered. The canal in the back is amazing. We fished from the back yard, saw alligators and manatees off the dock. The neighborhood is quiet and the neighbors were great. We came for a family reunion as we are all separated by a couple of states and our aunt lives in Florida. It accommodated all of us comfortably. The owner was patient and responsive. We had a great time and it is located for easy access to the beach and Orlando. There is great shopping and restaurants all close by. Thank you!!!!!

Good time

  • 3 of 5

It was a nice home and in a great neighborhood. Very close to everything

Could have been a little cleaner and the previous renters left their food and dead crabs in the fridge. Would have been helpful to have the cleaning them out

Also house gets pretty warm during the day and takes a while to coil but overall a great stay

Mr Sullivan was very kind and helpful

Owner's Response: James and Leah, Thanks for the review! We are always trying to make our guests stay better! The dead crab was shrimp bait left to fish off the dock. As I explained to James this was a quick turn around and we attempted to get the house as ready as we could for your stay. The outside temperature has been on the rise into the 100's lately and the AC is a new unit...when it is left in the auto setting and set at your desired temperature there will be no issues. I hope you received my five star review!

This is a spacious beautiful home in a quiet side walked neighborhood.

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful time. Our first morning, we saw dolphins feeding in the canal. 2 swam right under the dock where we were standing. Neighbors across the canal took us on their boat to see the sunset on the river that evening. The kitchen has everything you need to cook all meals, but the home is close to restaurants for when you don't want to prepare meals. This was our second time staying here and we enjoyed it even more this time. The beach is close (20 minutes or less) and my 14 year old learned to surf.

The owner, Tom, is very responsive. The house is in good condition with kayaks and a bike to use. I highly recommend this home. It is away from the hustle and bustle of the beach with still having easy access.

Wonderful home for our family vacation.

  • 5 of 5

The home was beautifully kept and very comfortable. The home is set close to the water where my family enjoyed fishing and kayaking within steps of the home. Lots of marine wildlife to enjoy from the comfort of a screened in porch. The home was spacious and large enough for us to all feel comfortable and right at home. It was set perfectly in the middle of many attractions that were within short driving distances. My family loved our time there and hope to be able to do this again soon. Thank you so much for use of your lovely home.
