Cabin entertainment includes board games, DVD's for all ages, TV's in most rooms and Wifi. You can also relax and take in the majestic mountain views in our 7 person Hot Tub. This is a private owned cabin that is not part of the resort but is one of the closer cabins and a very short walk to the resort.
We absolutely loved the cabin. My husband and I want to build a post and beam cabin to live in when we retire. Our kids loved it and we had some great meals every evening together. I really appreciate that the hot tub is drained and cleaned for every guest week and I am sure the folks that followed us will appreciate it as well. We had a blast 4 wheeling and no one thought to shower before hopping into the hot tub. Bad idea! That is why it may have seemed less than crystal clear.
The beds were super comfortable, no complaints from anyone. My husband commented several times on the comfortable bed. The decor was very cool and we really liked the unique bathrooms.
I really appreciated the extras in the kitchen like olive oil and lemon juice when we realized we only needed a little bit and there it was. The nice shampoos and toiletries were awesome as well. We used the washer to keep up with the towels and go home with some clean clothes.
The views from this cabin must be the best around, I really loved it. At night from the hot tub if you turned off the jets you could hear the Sundance outdoor theater in the background.
Lots of good things about this cabin and the fun we had hiking and playing in the area made a great family trip and reunion.
We rented the Seasons cabin for a long weekend in January of 2016 and loved it. Returning with my parents this year, and three kids, for another long January weekend, we didn't consider staying any where else, which is unusual for us. On our other trips are to the Delaware beaches and the Florida Keys we purposefully rent different properties just to mix things up but the Seasons is just too good to pass up. The view of the mountains and of the entire Sundance resort are incredible. Inside the house, I find myself just admiring at the craftsmanship all the time: floors, woodwork, tile work, etc. It's just so cool, and perfectly designed and decorated for the setting.
Something you'll rarely see mentioned, if ever, in another review, which is worth mentioning here, is the character of the owners. This year, over our long weekend, probably 2 feet of snow fell. Every day JB showed up to snow blow and shovel the driveway and the deck with the hot tub. Priceless. On the last full day, it snowed all day, dumping a foot on us and we needed to leave at 5:30 in the morning to catch our flight. Desperate, I texted Nichole at 7:44 that evening, pleading for help. She replied within 10 minutes saying exactly this, "Thanks SO MUCH for the update. We are more than willing to come tonight and get the bulk done and also in the early a.m. if it needs it. We will be up there in about 45 minutes." Nichole, JB, and their son shoveled it clean that night. They're the best.
One other thing I would like to point out is the location. We originally planned to go out that last night for dinner but with that much snow, it just wasn't going to happen. Instead, my wife and I walked down to Sundance, which is doable even in foot of snow, had a couple of drinks at the Owl Bar, got takeout from there and the deli for the rest of the family, and walked back. I just love this place.
The house was perfect for our buddies trip. The weekend we stayed the mountain lost electricity for 8+ hours and water service for 4-5 hours. Nicole and JB refunded me $150 for the inconvenience. They also made sure to clear the driveway from snow before we arrived.
The previous reviews say it all. The cabin is lovely and so well equipped! Owners are responsive and great to work with. Do not hesitate!
We could not have been happier with the beautiful house and gorgeous setting! The owners did an amazing job of making the entire home bright, rustic, and warm! It had amazing views, a great family room/gathering area, and all the bedrooms were uniquely creative and very comfortable! The beds and linens were 4 star and the view from the Jacuzzi on the deck was breathtaking! We are all planning another trip just so we can stay here again!
Beautiful, light-filled spacious mountain home. Easy access to hiking trails, Sundance; on-site stargazing too! Home and property well cared-for and well-maintained. Central air conditioning was a great upgrade from last year. The listing description was accurate, and there were even more amenities than were listed; if anything, the photos don't do justice to how great this home is. Owners were accessible when necessary. Will definitely come back, and would recommend to family and friends.
My husband and I, along with two other couples, booked two nights at Nicole and JB's beautiful cabin. We were in Sundance for a wedding and feel so fortunate we found this place. The house itself is amazing, reclaimed wood everywhere and beautiful finishes in the kitchen and baths. There was more than enough room for us to spread out and relax, the beds were very comfortable and the private baths were much appreciated. We cooked breakfast one morning for a small crowd and found the kitchen to be very well equipped, we loved having a full size coffee maker and filters as well as the large number of kitchen basics available. There were an abundance of towels supplied in each bath, along with hair dryers, body lotion (rarely found in a VRBO) and shampoo/conditioner. So much has been written about this house, the 5 star reviews are all true and I would not hesitate to book a stay here. Nicole and JB are very kind, very responsive and seem to really care about the well being of their guests. This was the perfect place for our group to spend the weekend, thank you Nicole!
