Continuing a distinct Sunday River guest experience.

For the third-year running, we stayed at this Flat Road residence, and Catherine and her husband continue the excellence at this unique ski lodging destination. Even when the skiing is sub-par, our stays here are not - part of our annual ski travels.

Warm, clean and cozy, feels like home!

  • 5 of 5

Our family (2 adults and 2 teens) had a wonderful weekend kicking the White Mountains. Having the barn to come back to was so nice. It is very comfortable and warm and has everything you need. Catherine left snacks and coffee which we all enjoyed especially after traveling all day. We also brought our dog which was such a nice treat to be able to travel with our pet. Communication with Catherine was very easy too. We would definitely stay here again and I would recommend to anyone. It's a lovely property and you can tell it is well looked after. Don't hesitate just book it!

Beautiful Home in a great setting

  • 5 of 5

The Barn was exactly as advertised. We enjoyed our stay very much. Very clean, nicely decorated and well organized. The hosts have thought of everything from snacks to dog bowls. The property is well kept and beautiful. Stacy is a gracious friendly host and really easy to communicate with.

Always a great stay

  • 5 of 5

This is our 3rd time staying at this amazing and unique property. The distance to the mountain is irrelevant based on the cozy, well appointed and first class environment of your lodging. The host and hostess could not be more charming, friendly or customer service oriented. Not a detail is missed in making your stay memorable. We will be back again for sure!

Cozy and clean

  • 4 of 5

My husband, two kids, and I stayed at this cozy, cute and very clean chalet attached to the main house. The owners are easy going, courteous and very kind. We enjoyed the place for 4 nights. We actually had to skip skiing one day due to below zero temperatures. Even though the chalet was small, we still had enough room to be comfortable and not feel cramped (thanks to the loft upstairs where the kids would hang out).

One detail that my husband did not realize when renting this place was the kitchenette instrad of a full kitchen. I had brought food to cook with. Unfortunately, each meal would take twice as long to cook with one plug in stove plate. Cleaning took longer too with a smaller sink. The small fridge was also too small for all the food but luckily it was so cold that I was able to store food outside on the balcony. Despite this drawback, we still had a great time and had our homemade meals. If you don't mind a kitchenette, it's a perfect hideaway for a small family.

Car: recommended

Just a short 15 minute drive from Sunday River Ski Resort, this property is not your typical ski rental. We are located adjacent to the White Mountain National Forest, where cross country skiing, snowshoeing and hiking are right outside your door.
