Beautiful view & exquisite chalet with everything you need! Loved it!

  • 5 of 5

The view was breathtakingly beautiful, the chalet was equipped with everything we needed. There were a few things that could have been explained a little clearer, but we figured it out in the long run & I would stay there again in a heartbeat. A very relaxing weekend overall. I would highly recommend this for anyone looking for a relaxing retreat from the hustle & bustle of city life.

Dallas, Texas

We sure enjoyed our stay and were wanting to stay longer !

  • 5 of 5

The pic's online are exactly what you will find in this cottage. Being from Dallas/TX, we were looking for a place with mountain views. This cabin is the ticket! Don't hesitate to book this cottage.....

We stayed on the second floor most of the time. On the second floor we ate our meals there; we relaxed there, we talked there; we sat in the hot tub there. It is the first place we went upon waking each morning (with a fresh cup of coffee). Listening to the night sounds in the forest; seeing fireflies, stars, distant lightening.. Seeing nature during the day; green trees of all varieties and shades of green, birds of all sizes and colors, warm breezes (instead of the Dallas' hot oven breeze). Refreshing and enlightening.....

The bed was comfortable, no back pain the next day. I can't tell you how many hotels I have stayed in and found the bed uncomfortable....

The kitchen is small but well accessorized. We were not there to cook gourmet meals anyway-quick meals only! Go to Food City in town for great prices on food fare. Ask customer service for their discount card, they hand them out and are eager to help you...For those wanting to cook nice meals there is a crock pot in the cottage to allow of slow cooking while you are out and about! Nice! If you have special diet cosiderations/prefer your own food - it is a great solution. Traveling and eating can get to be disappointing and upsetting sometimes. It is nice to have the choice.

Seeing some of the other posts about the drive, I was wondering how it would be, for two Texas folks! Never mind the posts!!! We did just fine and enjoyed the journey each time. We stayed out late every night and drove up (in the darkness) with no problems. Modern vehicles have head lights with high beams (ha!). We enjoyed seeing all of the other cabins, each with their owner's personality, property name. Cute...

The owner is prompt to respond and is eager to ensure the stay is everything you need it to be.

We have been using VRBO for the past few years when it makes sense to do so on our travels. It is so much more relaxing and comfortable than a hotel room. It may not always work out but is something we check into first.

Enjoy your stay here. Book an extra day, you are going to want that when it is time to leave....

Great place

The property was awesome. Great views and accommodations. The owner was superb to deal with. Worked out great for our family of four. Close to both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. I will definitely book to stay there again on a return visit.

Amazing views

  • 5 of 5

The property exceeded my expections. I was so pleasantly surprised and pleased with the entire property from the moment we pulled into the driveway. Kitchen was well appointed and stocked with necessities to the dishes, pots and pans even the seasonings!

The living room and downstairs bedroom was comfortable, clean, and cozy. The upstairs master suite is a room to behold with a 4 post bed and jacuzzi tub and your very own little living room with a fireplace too!

But the most special aspect of this lovely rental is the gorgeous views you get from not just one deck but 2 separate decks that you will feel like you are almost in heaven. I loved how we were away from activities in Gatlinburg and you could enjoy a peaceful day ,but it was about 15 minutes down the mountain and you are in the middle of everything.

This chalet was gorgeous and the view is simply amazing ! Everything you need is right there! Very peaceful and quiet! Nothing like sitting on the deck with a cup of coffee and soaking it all in. The pool was an extra plus really regret not renting this chalet for a longer period of time! Moving here in four years and this is just the area I would love to live in ! Away from it all and just enjoying the mountain view! I give the owners kudos for taking the time to to put the effort of making the chalet a beautiful comfortable home ! The beds are amazing and just the whole layout is perfect and tastefully decorated! I have told many people about this place and know I will be renting this place again! Thank you so much for providing your lovely home to us!
