Awesome house close to the stadium and downtown KC

  • 5 of 5

I have stayed in several homes booked on and other sites and this house is awesome. Plenty of sleeping room and beds for up to 11 as the description states. House is impeccably clean and well mananged. Location is perfect for anyone in town for the Chiefs or Royal games and close to downtown for night life. The only draw back for a big group is one full bathroom with a shower. It wasn't an issue for my party of six but could be an issue for larger parties. Home owner is easy to deal with and very detailed in his tour of the house and amenities. Will definitely keep this on my list of places to stay in Kansas City.

Rustic and Peaceful

  • 5 of 5

This was a wonderful experience. The house and property were very well maintained. Along with the fact the owners came to give us a walk through of the house prior to us starting our week here. I gladly recommend anyone to spend a few nights here.

Great house

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed our stay at this wonderful house. It had everything that we could have possibly needed and I would stay there again. The beds were extremely comfortable and the homeowners went out of their way to make sure that we had everything that we needed. It was a wonderful trip and the house was beautiful.

SUCH a WONDERFUL retreat!!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at this location for one week during a handspinning retreat, PLYAway in KCMO. The house is fully decorated with beautiful antiques, but unlike some "museum-feelish" homes, this home was soo comfortable and relaxing!! Each evening we came home and prepared a meal in newly renovated kitchen and then enjoyed wine in the living room while listening to satellite radio on the television. The backyard was so inviting, we even barbecued one evening on the supplied gas grill! We were stunned at the provided amenities in the house!! Curtis & Brenda were the epitome of gracious hosts with over-the-top hospitality!! We arrived late in the evening and there was coffee and fresh cream there to get us started the next morning. . . such a sweet and thoughtful gesture. Even though we were in the area for work related purposes, we could still get some relaxation in at this location! The bed that I slept in was so comfortable, I didn't want to leave at the end of the week. We will definitely be reserving this home again for our return to this annual retreat!!
