Guestbook comments from the owner

Amazing! This has been our second time here, and we had (another) great time with our two dogs, Lady and Minnie. My sister, brother, and parents all loved relaxing in the hot tub and snoozing by the fireplace. We also enjoyed the art studios, the Asheville Brewing Company

and going up the mountains. This is the perfect cabin and we will surely be coming back!

Loved it

We loved this cabin. Very quiet and relaxing. Foosball and ping pong were great, and it was very well stocked in the kitchen.

Awesome Stay at the Hip Little Cabin on the Hill

  • 5 of 5

We had a great time staying at Jennifer's Hip Little Cabin. The cabin was so cute and cozy. We immediately fell in love with it and wished we were staying longer. The cabin had everything we needed and it felt very comfortable staying there. We especially loved the hot tub under the stars! My kids loved the loft bedroom upstairs and the little hideout to play in. The cabin had a beautiful view of the forest and it is in a very quiet and secluded neighborhood. We loved this beautiful retreat and had a great time exploring Asheville, Grandfather Mountain, the AP Trail and Lineville Falls. It was a great trip and we hope to return again soon!

Great mountain getaway!

  • 5 of 5

This is our second time staying at the hip little cabin and we are already planning to come back for a third time next year! Great cabin nestled in the woods with fire ring, hot tub and surrounded by trees. Not too remote though as you're only a 10-15 drive to downtown Asheville and Black mountain. We loved having the combo of doing things in both towns and being able to come back into the mountains to relax ! Very clean, comfortable beds, etc. We would also bring our two children here. Thanks again!

Fantastic location to dive into all that the area has to offer. Nearby attractions include the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway, hiking, biking, whitewater rafting, the Biltmore, shops, and restaurants. The River Arts District is a not to be missed introduction to the local art scene in Asheville. Another sure bet for art lovers is the Folk Art Center - home to the Southern Highland Craft Guild, conveniently located nearby on the Parkway. Lake Lure and Chimney Rock are an easy day trip from the cabin. Warren Wilson College is in Swannanoa , which offers miles of trails to explore and a farmers market in warmer weather. With Asheville 11 miles away and Black Mountain just 6 miles away, and a sweet little cabin like this to hang your hat, you can't go wrong!
