Bill and his wife, Benita, were very nice. I feel welcome. I really enjoyed staying in the apartment for a week. The apartment is very nice with a spectacular and panoramic view of Intramuros and Manila skyline. I plan of going back again this month and using the apartment.
Stayed 13 nights over xmas and new years. Location is excellent if you want to be close to old Manila, Rizal Park, Roxas and fireworks. Great views from balcony looking north and west in Manila Bay. Spacious apartment for family of four with basic kitchen appliances ie one standalone hotplate. As with just about every place in Manila maintenance is the weakness, ie broken waste plugs, balcony lock, master bed television etc, but are not deal breakers. Good value for money in comparison to hotels. Numerous homeless persons on street in close proximity to building who caused us no problems. The only deal breaker for me, as I explained to Bill, the host, was the daily 5.15am blaring music coming from Rizal Park's 'zumba' activities. Even with all windows/doors closed and on level 23 the noise was offensive. But hey we are talking about Manila!
It was a wonderful experience, great place to stay it had plenty of room and very close proximity to a lot of attractions. Great owners, got to meet Biill and his wife, wonderful people and I will be in contact with them next time in my future visit back to the Philippines.
