Beautifully designed, this luxurious south-west view, corner penthouse on the harbour’s edge creates a unique sensory experience for the sophisticated traveler. The suite was renovated, May 2011, and the use of local materials, suppliers and trades makes it uniquely Victoria. Furnished to 'stand out from the crowd,” all fabrics and furniture pieces were selected by Interior Designer, Teresa Ryback, who is recognized for creating grand prize lottery dream homes and luxury residential properties. The Pied-à-Terre features two balconies on the main level that open to create a refreshing cross breeze and a private, rooftop deck that can be accessed via an in-suite staircase (luxury yacht-type ladder) or by way of elevator and stairs from the building’s hallway. A verdured, common-area adjoins the Pied-à-Terre’s private roof deck, where a gas barbeque is accessed on a first-come basis.

Perfect for vacation or business travel, this exquisitely furnished, full 1 bedroom/ 1 bath, comfortably appointed penthouse boasts Brazilian cherry hardwood floors, silestone countertops in the (fully equipped) kitchen and bath, stainless steel appliances, high-speed internet connection, 50' flat screen Panasonic TV w/ Optik TV digital programming, washer/ dryer, gas fireplace and secure underground parking, plus more.

This “sweet suite” is conveniently located in the modern and secure, Mermaid Wharf building in Victoria’s “Design District” - a historic part of downtown, just steps away from entertainment, water activities and eclectic shopping. Enjoy the spectacular views of water, sunsets and the rhythm of the downtown lights. Access to activities and amenities is easy and near endless from this well situated location-!

It is truly a jewel in the heart of Victoria.

Steeped in history, rich in culture and blanketed in colour, downtown Victoria is a very pedestrian friendly area; numerous restaurants and entertainment are walking distance from the Mermaid Wharf building. Many forms of off-island transportation are available, if desired. There are seaplane services and Ferry transportation to Vancouver, Seattle, Port Angeles and Bellingham that are easy and convenient. Additionally, there's the Victoria Harbour Heliport offering Helijet service and charters.

For your peace of mind: Pied-à-Terre is Business Licensed, and the Mermaid Wharf building is Zoned for short-term stays and vacation rentals. Please feel comfortable, and enjoy this friendly community. Kindly note: we provide a smoke and pet free environment for the comfort of all our guests.

Again, one dedicated secure parking space w/ bicycle storage is provided during your stay at Mermaid Wharf at no additional cost.

Fantastic Stay
We loved the condo and its location to everything. A nice break in the city before we headed out on our next adventure. I would highly recommend this property. The roof top patio was a bonus and the view was spectacular.

Perfect Location and Harbor Views
This is a great property in a centralized location that provides amazing views and upscale comforts. Parking is provided in a secured garage with remote control access. We were able to easily walk in downtown with major attractions just minutes away. The penthouse itself was quiet and comfortable. Coffee machine options were very welcome along with the well stocked basic supplies in the kitchen. The private roof top patio was spacious although we didn't use it much due to it being colder. The staircase leading to the roof hatch was precarious but there is an elevator. Bed was very comfortable as was the modern furniture. Thanks for a great stay!

This is a wonderful getaway for two to an in-city property. Very walkable area. Vibrant neighborhood with many restaurant options and cute shopping options. Helpful and easy to deal with host. Highly recommend this property

Location is fantastic for walking all around Victoria, and if you need a car to explore further afield, easy parking in the building. Fun to just watch the comings and goings in the harbor!
