Whiffletree Condominium G7: If location is important nothing beats Whiffletree Condominiums. This three bedroom unit offers the convenience of a ski home trail and shuttle service to Snowshed Base Lodge.
This unit offers Killington's best value on top of the mountain. The Livingroom has a gas fireplace, sliders to a small deck and is by far one of Killington's best kept secrets.
The complex offers an outdoor pool and tennis courts for the summer season and the resort is right next to the Killington Golf Course.
The property manager was very helpful.
The vacation rental was somewhat dirty.
I was very happy with the location.
I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental.
The unit was literally falling apart. Considering the cleaning fee is over $200, the place had cob-webs all over, dusty, and just over all not cleaned well. The heating elements were the old school kind which lined the bottom of the wall in each room. They worked but were falling apart. The metal siding was almost completly off and would catch on anything you were wearing when you walked past them. It was very small and does NOT sleep 8 adults comfortably. The bigger beds in 2 of the rooms were just 2 double beds pushed together and were worn down to the springs. The pull out sofa was not even full size not to mention damaged, so the middle of the frame of the pull out was basically sagging to the floor. You would have had a better nights rest sleeping on the concrete porch. Dishwasher wasn't screwed in and fell over when you tried to load it, there was gap in the ceiling of the shower, no shower head (just water coming straight out of the pipe). The walls are paper thin as well. Overall, this place was grossly overpriced and needs a complete renovation. Would not recommend renting this unit.
The property was perfect for our stay. It was clean, had plenty of space and all the tools we needed to enjoy ourselves. We couldn't connect to the WiFi but no one cared since we werent there to sit on our tablets. Very close to the mountain and all Killington has to offer.
