I’m an avid HomeAway user. This property is a perfect fit for those wanting to be right on the river. Everything is well kept and the owner is very personable and willing to help. Love the neighbors as well.
Fabulous location! Beautiful Chalet!
We had a wonderful stay here. Dave was extremely helpful with advice on what to do and see. We did a couple of guide fishing trips and are patiently awaiting our halibut and salmon to arrive! This home is located on the river with gorgeous views and just a short drive into town! We would highly recommend!!
Peaceful riverfront cottage with moose sightings
Our family loved the calm, quiet setting and all the comfort of the house. The neighbors were friendly and suggested fun things to do in the area. If you find another house where you might see a cow and calf moose swimming down the river, let me know.
Great property on the river.
We had 3 couples stay for a week. The cabin was very inviting and a great home base for our adventure. The fishing area was great for 3 people to fish from and the neighbors were very nice and helpful.
Great house and location owner easy to work with
We had a great time here great house wish the fishing had been better but that is why they call it fishing not catching.Location was great not to far from town view of the river from the the porch was wonderful. Will stay here again!!! Thank you RG
Nest, clean and beautiful
The house is beautiful and all amenities as noted and more. The owner was there and took care of anything that needed attended too. The area around the property is filled with wild life and is beautiful too. Great safe stay. The home is spacious and comfortable. Would highly recommend renting and would rent again.
You are close enough to town should you want to go in, you can go shop the galleries or charter fish in Homer, take glacier cruises out of Seward, with many little tourists stops along the way. However, once you're here you may just want to stay. We are at a great location to travel to other destinations on the peninsula or 2.5 hours to Anchorage but we often find that once we reach the river our destination has been met. It is a great place to just let everything else go, be with friends and family, watch and listen to the river, observe eagles and (the occasional visiting) wildlife, and walk down to the river when you hear the call, 'Fish On!'
