1 bedroom, 1 bathroom cabin on 1.1 acres that is close to town, yet has that out of town feel. The cabin is 440 square feet and has all the amenities you need. A full kitchen, shower and bath and a queen bed in the bedroom make this cozy cabin comfortable. The two love seats in the living area both fold out into individual twin beds. Fawn ridge cabin also has a fireplace and outdoor decks to enjoy the fresh mountain air.
The Cabin is a great alternative to a hotel or condo, where you have your own place on 1.1 acres and are in the midst of the pine trees. Downtown Ruidoso is approx 4 miles away and the ski slopes (Ski Apache) is about 15 miles away. There are many restaurants within 2-3 miles as well. There is a very nice deck to sit on and relax and use the grill (charcoal) to make your favorite meals. There is also nice wildlife watching, from the bird feeder just feet from the deck to watching the deer walk through the property.
Come enjoy the Fawn Ridge Cabin!
We bought Fawn Ridge Cabin in 2013. We love Ruidoso and ended up falling in love with the cabin. It has been remodeled and is super cute. We live in Liberty Hill, Texas and travel to Ruidoso every chance we get!
owner/manager purchased this cabin in 2013
We wanted a cabin that wasn't in town and wasn't a condo. Every time we rented in Ruidoso, it seemed that is what we ended up with (in our price range). When we first looked at the cabin, we fell in love. We can't live here full time, so we thought we would rent it and let others enjoy it's beauty as well.
The cabin is on 1.1 acres and has Pine trees surrounding it. We walked to the top of the property and found the beautiful view of the Sierra Blanca mountain range. As we were enjoy the beauty, the wind was blowing and the fresh pine was just amazing.
Thanks so much for letting us share your beautiful cabin. We really enjoyed our stay. We did most of our cooking at the cabin but we also ate at Farley's and The Log Cabin. Both were very good. We hope to visit again soon.
I was nothing but impressed with the cabin. The cabin itself was super clean, private and what a cabin should be. The hot tub was definitely the selling point for us. A must have after a weekend of skiing. Other reviews stated they didn't like the fact there's no TV in the living room but if you rent a cabin in the woods, a TV in the living room defeats the purpose of a cabin to begin with. Check in is was super easy and I had questions about how to get in and Jason answered his phone in the first 2 rings. The cabin is fully furnished and gives you the ability to cook yourself but is also 10 min away from an assortment of restaurants. I'll definitely rebook next year.
This little cabin in ruidoso was wonderful. If you are wanting r&r and some beautiful scenery then definitely come here. The cabin has everything you need and is comfy and cozy. Perfect for my husband and I. We will definitely be coming back.
My family of 3 absolutely loved this cabin. We stayed over Christmas weekend and it was so refreshing getting back to basics and unplugging from everything. The cabin was very clean and kitchen well equipped. Our only complaint is that the TV does not work. We brought Christmas DVDs to watch, but we weren't able to ever get it to work even after following the handwritten instructions in the nightstand drawer. The bed was very comfortable, towels, blankets, and extra pillows are provided. Reception was great as well. I highly recommend going to Winter Park while you're there. My 5 year old daughter had the time of her life snow tubing and ziplining. Thank you Morgan and Jason Tuggle for allowing us to stay. So many memories created in one amazing weekend.
Great place to stay. Not really any complaints at all. I would say try to get a TV in the living room. I believe that would the only thing the would have enhanced my time there. Clean, inviting.
Cozy cabin... we had a great time....will definately will come back
Staying in this homey cabin for our anniversary weekend worked out great. We brought our groceries, cooked dinner on the grill, enjoyed wine on the deck & breakfast each morning in the well stocked kitchen. It's small but efficient. Totally a good value, close to hiking trails, skiing and the town. We did have a difficult time finding the cabin as the roads are not well marked and the GPS does not define where to go. Once located, we enjoyed beautiful sunsets and a nice weekend.
