There is nothing better than to experience all of the fun and festivities of downtown Hendersonville.
Across from the historic Henderson County Courthouse and front and center for all of the wonderful festivals and parades.
My husband and I stayed here for 2 weeks last summer while kids attended summer camp. We couldn't have been more pleased. The apartment is well appointed and very comfortable, and the location can't be beat. We enjoyed preparing our own meals "at home" for breakfast and lunch--two grocery stores within 5 mins walking distance--and walked up the street nightly for dinner, with many excellent options. Rental agent was super helpful and accommodating, even brought us an extra table we requested so that my husband could have dedicated workspace apart from the dining table. Hendersonville is perfectly charming, with several independent coffee shops and bookstores in easy walking distance, as well as many independent retail, restaurants and even breweries just steps away. Be advised, the original hardwood floors are creaky, so if you have a light sleeper and a night wanderer like us, it can be a little annoying--but even with that, we would book again in a minute.
I can't imagine a better place to stay in the area. Don't hesitate on this one. It's a winner!
Beautiful one br apartment in the heart of downtown Hendersonville.
It is well equipped and everything worked. The property manager was very accommodating.
What I really liked was the little extra's such as the Keurig Coffee Maker and the Netflix account on the TV. I would definitely stay here again. Two very happy thumbs up.
For visiting our son in Flat Rock, this was just the place for me! Spacious, clean, comfortable, everything seemed to work, and fabulous location. Careful where you park, I flubbed that a couple of times, but management was able to get ahold of me right away. Also, the stairs are steep, but for me, just a small inconvenience considering the location and property. Was a good value & pleasant stay for me. Will stay again. Thanks Penny!
The Downtown Daisy was perfect for me and my wife during our stay in Hendersonville. It was clean, comfortable, and you can't beat the location! We were gone most of the day hiking and enjoying the outdoors, so parking was never an issue, but a parking pass is available to use so you can park behind the building. Penny and the office staff were very helpful. We will definitely be returning to the Downtown Daisy!
I recently visited Hendersonville for a long weekend. First impressions of the property were very positive. Location is great and the property itself is very nice. The problems arose when dealing with the human element.
I understand the kitchen isn't expected to be fully stocked, but a roll of paper towels would have been nice. Additionally there was no extra toilet tissue. I set of travel sized toiletries for the shower would have been very much appreciated as well as there was none of that either.
The real issue occurred Saturday evening when I returned to the property and discovered the air conditioning had stopped working and it was 80 degrees inside. This was discovered around 5 in the afternoon and after making multiple calls to the property manager, I called the maintenance number and was told that per the property managers instructions, the air conditioner going out was not considered an emergency and they would not be sending anyone to repair it. The best they could do was submit a work order to the property manager. I asked if I could have a contact number for the property manger and was told they could not provide me with any information. What? I was paying for this place.
The property manager did finally return my call and was pleasant and promised the issue would be resolved. It never was. I sent another message to the property manager at 12:45 in the morning stating no one contacted me to repair the air conditioner and never heard back from her. I relied on relatives to bring over fans for the evening.
I don't understand how you don't immediately assist a paying customer when they report the air conditioning has stopped working in the middle of summer. It's essentially like a hotel quest saying the ac has gone out and the front desk saying they will get around to it when they feel like it.
This incident completely spoiled an otherwise nice vacation. The most troubling part is no one has contacted me to offer a refund, voucher or even an apology. I didn't want to write this review but the fact that I have not heard from anyone shows they have zero respect for their customers.
We really enjoyed the downtown Daisy on main street in Hendersonville. It was so much fun to be in the center of the action with activities and restaurants galore. We watched from our window as they set up for the Memorial Day weekend garden and outdoor festival. The currently remodeled historic condo was very comfortable with easy access to everything - mountains, Asheville, etc.
We are located on Main Street in Historic Downtown Hendersonville home of the NC Apple Festival, The Village of Flat Rock which is home to Connemara -The Carl Sandburg National Historic Site and The Flat Rock Playhouse - The State Theater of NC, Saluda NC - home of the annual Coon Dog Day Festival, Tryon - home of the Steeple Chase and the ever popular Blue Ridge Bar-B-Que Festival, Brevard - home of the Brevard Music Center, waterfalls galore & the annual White Squirrel Festival, Asheville, our sister to the north, is world famous for the Biltmore Estate, Grove Park Inn & Belle Chere Festival.
