The property manager was more than helpful.
The vacation rental was clean.
I was happy with the location.
I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental.
We had a very nice stay at the Winterset 53 Dew West. I'm not sure it was worth $900/night, but it was a good, clean, open home. The Timberline Realty folks bent over backward to accommodate us, and helped with some unusual requests that made the trip very good. My only complaint was a strange inability to keep the roads clear from ice and snow. The property sits at the top of a hill in a cul-de-sac and both nights of our stay we were unable to get cars up the hill due to ice. Timberline Realty seemed unable to locate or contact the company in charge of salting, or clearing, the roads. It caused a lot of anguish, spinning tires, missed dinners and waiting in cars at the bottom of the development for hours until a truck threw some gravel cinders down so we could get to the property.
