Perfect place to stay

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here for a skiing/hiking weekend in March with our family. The layout of the house is great with the bedrooms and bathrooms downstairs, kitchen and living room upstairs. There is a large mudroom which is perfect for storing ski bags, boots and gear, and there is a great laundry set up there as well. The kitchen had absolutely everything we needed, including a crock pot, and great cookware. The house was very clean and the beds and pillows were really comfortable. The pictures do not do this place justice. It is very bright and sunny upstairs and the porch is beautiful. We especially loved the location as we have friends in the area, and it is very close to where we like to hike and only 10 minutes to ski. Booking was easy and the owners were extremely responsive and accommodating. I don't have a single negative thing to say about this lovely home. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful & relaxing stay at the mountain chalet!

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay at the mountain chalet. Location was perfect for us, not too far outside of Killington. The house exceeded our expectations by far. The kitchen was fully stocked with appliances, dishes, etc. which allowed us to cook meals everyday during our stay. One of the best parts about our vacation was hanging out at night in front of the fireplace after a long day of skiing. It was perfect. Having the bedrooms and bathrooms downstairs makes it convenient so we didn't have to carry all of our luggage up and down a flight of stairs. The cleanliness of the house was excellent. The open floor plan upstairs is great and allowed everyone to be together. The only regret was not staying longer. We will definitely choose this house next time we go to Vermont and would recommend this property to friends/family. Owners provided excellent customer service as well!!

Cozy and comfortable!!

  • 5 of 5

My friends and I absolutely loved this house after a full day of snowboarding at Killington. The layout was perfect (bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms downstairs) and the kitchen and big living area upstairs with the deck. The fireplace was GOLDEN and warmed the entire house in minutes. The property was easy to get to and you are only on a "country back road" for about 5 minutes which was nice for all the cars without 4x4. We were located 15 minutes from both Killington and Mt. Pico so we alternated between to the two. There are a bunch of rental places as well if you don't have a board. Honestly I've rented many homes for the winter and this house plus the surrounding area was the best stay I've ever had. All amenities are around you (country markets, gas, restaurants) and you aren't searching just to find civilization. Definitely would rent again!

Awesome Ski House

  • 5 of 5

What a cozy, comfortable home. The fireplace is a gem after a day of skiing at Killington. This house is centrally located to several ski resorts. The deck reminds you of being in a tree house. The area offers a lot: Swiss Farm Inn (World's Best Breakfast), beautiful scenic drives (Woodstock is charming), and not that far from Burlington. We would highly recommend this house if you are looking for a place to stay during ski season, and I am sure it is equally as charming any time of year.

Great vacation rental near Killington

  • 5 of 5

We had a great stay at the house. We found it easily, the road was well maintained even though it was a very snowy week. The house was very clean, cleaner than your usual ski rental. The decor of the house is warm and welcoming, the outside landscape is beautiful. The bedrooms were warm and comfortable, extra blankets were provided as well. Kitchen had everything you need, including a dishwasher and garbage compressor. It was a short distance (10 min) to Killington Mountain. I would definitely recommend this house to my friends and use it again in the future. The owner of the house was very friendly and answered all my questions quickly and satisfactory.

Great property/experience!

  • 5 of 5

My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed staying at this property. The house/cabin was clean, cozy and comfortably slept 8 people. It was under 15 minutes to Killington Mountain. None of us had skied Killington before, and absolutely loved the Mountain. Also, the property owner was extremely friendly and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again!
