The is the perfect place to lose yourself for a week or weekend full of relaxation! Lance's place was amazing in every way. We went up for a weekend getaway with a group of friends, and with the fire pit, grill, and hot tub, this was the perfect cozy cabin for the event. The house was stalked with every connivence imaginable, and with seven people, we never felt cramped. Lance was such a gracious host before, during, and after our stay. We'll be raving about this for months to come!
Was just like the description. we didn't see anyone all weekend very private. There was plenty of everything towels, cookware, firewood. We had another couple join us and they where also very impressed. If I had to give a negative it would be the radio a Bluetooth or docking station would be awesome but it's not a big deal we brought our own just in case we will def be back as the drive, hot tub and price are excactly what we are looking for highly recommend this place and already have to all our fam and friends
This was our second stay in the last year and we will be back soon! Lisa is a joy! My husband and I found their gem of a getaway last year on Homeaway. We both lead stressful lives and we try to take mini trips throughout the year to recharge and reconnect. This is the perfect place for just that. It's a lovely drive, just beautiful this time of year! The tidy, comfortable cabin feels like a home away from home. Lisa has thought of everything, right down to the hilt. The wonderful scenery, the gliders by the fire pit, horseshoes, access to the row boat and a wonderful hot tub to relax in are just a few of the things we love! I returned to work today a new and more refreshed version of myself. Also, she is a pizza Genius! It was so thoughtful for her to leave us two of her world famous pizzas! Thanks again, and as soon as I have the dates, we'll be back in the spring, if not sooner!!!!
Thank you so much to our Hosts.
The cabin was private, clean, we'll suited
For leisure. We took the canoe out on the lake around sunset...OMG.
We enjoyed our stay and the hot tub was clean and very relaxing.
I believe this was our 4th time we have rented here. We really enjoy staying here because it is not too far to travel and yet you feel like you are getting away from it all. There was construction going across and just down the road but that didn't take away from our stay. We LOVE the hot tub and were able to get out and do some paddle boating. We bring our boat with us and are able to try several different lakes in the area which we enjoy doing. The pizzas are always a welcome plus and the fire pit is always ready for a fire. We will continue to come back as it has become our favorite place.
This property is very clean and well-cared for by the owners. We enjoyed the campfires at night and fishing during the day. We have family on Island Lake so it was an easy drive to spend time with them. I wish this cabin had direct lakefront property, but you can walk just a few minutes to access it. It would make a nice get-away in the fall!
