A step back in time updated!

  • 5 of 5

Our family loved this property. We loved the charm of the old but grateful for the updates. Our three day stay added memories for all of us. You can expect big rooms and lots of them, big yard, kitchen is well stocked. We made and shared amazing meals. Dining room table fit all of us with room to spare. Although we didn't sleep a lot all the bedrooms had comfy beds!

We also loved Lexington. We were close to city, bourbon trails and Keeneland.

We will be back to make this a tradition.

Wonderful and convenient!!

  • 4 of 5

It was absolutely fabulous! My daughter got married at Talon Winery which was close by. We had 7 family members staying in the home and we had plenty of room and privacy. We entertained with a brunch for 30 so the double oven and great kitchen was very appreciated along with the convenient patio! The only problem was the very late check in at 4:30 we had to rush to our rehearsal dinner! We will come again! It was a very memorable weekend!!!!

Great house for a group

  • 5 of 5

House is large enough for a group of people to spread out comfortably. House has a lot of character but also modern amenities like air conditioning and a nice kitchen. The amount of outdoor seating is really nice and the covered porch with ceiling fans is really appreciated on a warm Kentucky evening. It is at the end of a sub division and really does maintain its privacy and quiet well.

I recommend this rental and will stay here again as our travels take us through Lexington.

Awesome place for 3 generations to get together and celebrate the bourbon trail and horse country.

  • 5 of 5

Thouroghly enjoyed the history of the house and all it had to offer. Spacious bedrooms and living room allowed everyone to be comfortable. Plenty of chairs on the patio to kick back and relax. Great location to access key locations within 30 min. Thank you for the grill! It was the icing on the cake.

Family memories begin here

  • 5 of 5

Our family stayed together at the Hart-Featherston house when we came to Lexington for my daughter's wedding. We stayed 4 nights. My memories of our time will include family stories & laughter around the dining room table, baking pies for the reception with my daughters in the lovely kitchen, more family stories on the back porch in the evenings, and enjoying early morning coffee on the back porch while I watched the butterflies dart through the trees. We will all take away wonderful memories of our time together. The house was exactly what we hoped it would be, and everyone was delighted with their stay.

The Hart-Featherston House is the second oldest home in Central Kentucky, built by Nathaniel Hart in the late 1700s, and is close to everything Lexington has to offer! Whether you are coming to town for one of the numerous equestrian events, or just wanting to escape a busy lifestyle, this short-term rental can provide you with the quiet solace you need! Just a few miles from Keeneland Racetrack, Red Mile Racetrack, and Kentucky Horse Park, this location provides you a central location. The Hart-Featherston House is only minutes from downtown Lexington, which contains several local breweries and a very active nightlife. Rupp Arena is a mere six miles away and if you have not visited the shops and restaurants in the Chevy Chase area, it is a must-see. The Kentucky Bourbon Trail is very accessible, as is the scenic route of winding roads that leads through the large amount of beautiful horse farms all around the area. The old Squire Road has become a widely used hiking/walking/biking trail that begins right next to the driveway. You can enjoy some exercise by walking out the front door! Lexington is only 70 miles from Louisville, 25 miles to Frankfort, 90 miles to Cincinnati, OH, and 130 miles to Knoxville, TN.
