Photos and Description of this Santa Fe holiday house

1 Bed, 1 Sleeper Sofa, 1 Bath House (Sleeps 3)

You can not ask for more charm than in this darling one bedroom casita. Honoring the old world traditions of Santa Fe the recent remodel of this historic adobe home is nothing short of delightful. Casita Besos is situated in Santa Fes finest East Side neighborhood. You will be staying just a couple blocks away from some of the best restaurants Santa Fe offers. Geronimos, El Farol, The Compound and the Tea House. From here you can stroll down Canyon Road which boasts more art galleries than any American City other than New York. The architecture and old trees running along the "Acequia Madre" (Spanish for "Mother Ditch" ) will tantalize you as you walk down from here to the Plaza and Rail Yard Districts. The historic Acequia Madre is the street your casita is on. This Acequia was built by the Spanish people when they first arrived in Santa Fe and was the original water supply for the people who farmed this area. Casita Bonita itself is a cozy one bedroom adobe home with a full kitchen and a kiva fireplace in the living room. The home features Spanish wood carving through out and vigas. You will enjoy a sweet back and front yard. The home is very private and inviting. A queen size bedroom. The living room has an open concept with the kitchen and dinning area. There is a large chair that opens up into a sleeper for an extra guest. The bath room is spacious. You will want to come back year after year to Casita Besos.

About Two Casitas, Santa Fe Vacation Rentals, Wendy Kapp

A note from Wendy Kapp- Owner of Two Casitas Santa Fe Vacation Rentals

Having been raised in Chicago, my soul longed for the massive blue skies and mountains I first saw when my mother, well-known watercolor artist Phyllis Kapp of Waxlander Gallery, introduced me to this magnificent area when I was 6 years old.

While returning west in 1975, I came through Santa Fe and fell in love with Northern New Mexico once again. I found the people here, especially back in '75, to be the most authentic people I had ever met and I decided to make Santa Fe my home. My extensive knowledge from living here for since 1975 makes me the perfect, local hostess to give you tips on making your stay memorable. I hope you come to love Santa Fe and, in-turn Two Casitas, as much as I do.

Why Two Casitas, Santa Fe Vacation Rentals, Wendy Kapp chose New Mexico

Location, location, location is why I chose these homes; walk everywhere.

What makes this house unique

When you stay with Two Casitas you stay like a local, not like a tourist, and experience Santa Fe like you live here. Who knows, maybe you will someday!

Good location for Canyon Rd galleries

  • 3 of 5

We had a nice 3 day stay in the casita. It was a couple of blocks from Canyon Rd which has several restaurants and lots of galleries. The casita was smaller than the pictures but was cute and had nice linens. My only criticism was the bed. When two people slept in it you tended to roll toward the middle! It ended up giving me a crick in my neck! A new firmer mattress would be nice! Also the back door lock was pretty unstable. Other than that, the office was friendly and seemed to try their best for us to have a nice stay.

They say location is everything and it doesn't get much better than this.located on a quiet street but just around the corner from canyon road and some of the best restaurants in Santa Fe. This Adobe casita has all the Santa Fe charm and all the modern amenities . Leave your car parked in your driveway and walk to galleries and shopping. The team from two casitas were great. The casita was very clean and well kept. I would definitely recommend besos

Fantastic vacation rental for two!

  • 5 of 5

Besos is a charming casita that has been remodeled with classic southwest flavor. Located on a quiet gravel drive along side some exquisite private homes. A brief walk from the famous Canyon Road Galleries, El Farol and Tea House, The Compound and Geronimo resturants. Everything inside is mega clean, fresh and seems like new - sheets, dishes, cooking ware, towels, furniture and all the appliances have been updated. It is small but we found it perfect for two.

Two Casitas really treated us well. They greeted us with wine, chips/dip upon arrival. They took care of the garbage service for us and kept us stocked with necessities. We recommended the place needed a soap dish and some hooks to hang hand towels which they delivered the very next day. Bottom line is we had a perfect vacation and would stay in the Besos Casita again.

Nice Place Near Canyon Road

  • 4 of 5

We really enjoyed our recent stay at Casa Besos. The location is great with only a short walk to the galleries and restaurants on Canyon Road. We were particularly impressed by how clean the house was when we checked in. We were also pleased with the care and attention we got from the people at twocasistas. A few towel bars or hooks in the bathroom and some flowers/plants in the back garden would be nice but otherwise no complaints.

Simply wonderful place to stay in central santa fe

  • 5 of 5

We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay one block away from the famous Canyon Road in Santa Fe. I am here with my 82 year old Mother and Sister. When we arrived there was a lovely welcome gift of wine and snack. My mother has commented several times that the interior design and decorations are wonderful. It is fully equipped, has a lovely small patio area for early morning coffee, birds, and sunrises. We have walked to Friday Night Canyon Road gallery walk. Visited the Farmers market one mile away and the Plaza. It is all walkable but at this elevation we have had to drive a bit for my mother. Thanks so much for a perfect stay.
