About the property

2 Bedroom 2 Bath With Large Wrap Around Porch For Summer & Winter Days

Be amazed! Great views both inside and out! Newly remodeled home with a cabin touch on the outside and a unique modern touch on the inside.

Shoreline Way is a privately owned cabin with private Swim Area. The property abuts the Beaver Lake shoreline, an amenity of itself! The home features a wraparound porch with access from master bath, master bedroom, living room, dining, and kitchen. In fact, the sliding glass doors throughout the house open to an amazing lake view and koi pond with pleasant sounds of running water. The home was designed to increase the expanse of the space by opening the sliding doors in both living room and kitchen. This works well for entertaining or if you would like to co-mingle the outdoor deck with the indoor space, giving ample flow for all occupants. The desk has steps that also flow well into the back yard. Perfect for gatherings, birthday parties, weddings or barbecue. (See photos)

The private boat Swim Area has tow slips for your boat and features three kayaks, two sit on top and one sit inside, complete with paddles and life vests for both children and adults. (See photo of morning fog rolling off water, view of one of the kayaks on the shoreline) Bring your boat to Swim Area during your stay or rent one. (We can supply you with contacts for boat rentals.) Fishing poles & tackle are available for your use on the Swim Area, or bring your own.

As you drive up to the property you will notice the private Swim Area situated on Beaver Lake to the left with beautiful limestone rocks in the background, absolutely breathtaking! Before entering the home, you’re already reminded to give your worries to the stars, upon the view of its beautifully adorned celestial artwork on the front door. Entering into the home, you may feel like you've walked into a spa like retreat. Here you can take off your shoes, hang up your coat, and put down the briefcase, your vacation getaway has begun! Or if you’re a business traveler, this is the perfect home to distress after a long day of meetings!

The living room furniture consists of a sectional with chaise lounge and two modern leather reclining chairs. This is where the components are housed for the entertainment needs of the home, including outdoor deck speakers. It is here where you can connect: IPhone/IPod, watch movies, or cable on a 55” flat screen TV. The home is equipped for your Wi-Fi needs. Turn on the tunes and bask in the view of Beaver Lake and the backyard from the living room sliders.

Just around the corner is the fully equipped modern kitchen with up to date modern appliances. Granite counter tops that wrap around the prep and cooking area, a gem for any seasoned cook! Seated around the counter tops are red leather bar stools, perfect for those that like to chat with the cook or help out with prep work. Picture your friends, family, or guests in this expansive kitchen with doors that open out to the deck, all with the view of Beaver Lake. The dining table seats 6 for a dinner party, board game, or a night of playing cards. In the Bamboo Liquor Cabinet is a state-of-the-art Chanson Water Purifier, an advanced water ionization machine that can produce water of any Ph. Drinking alkaline water can increase energy levels, giving you even more energy for paddling or water sports on Beaver Lake. If you are traveling with pets, the bottom drawer of the cabinet has four bowls built into the unit. We also supply some essentials such as dog shampoo and goodies for your pets. Games and cards can be found in the kitchen cabinets beside the fridge.

Down the hall you will find a large pantry, laundry room, and two car garage. You do have the ability to use the garage equipped with garage door openers. In the garage you will find recycling bins for those that are green conscious minded. Pet kennels are supplied in the garage for those with pet needs.(Please ask for setup of the kennels prior to booking.) In the laundry room we store beach towels, extra bedding, and laundry supplies for the washer and dryer. No need to bring laundry essentials as the units are programmed to use the right amount of detergent, stored by us under the units

A comfortable king size bed is located in the master bedroom. Here you will find a tastefully decorated window seat with a direct view of the private Swim Area, perfect spot to relax while reading a book. The master bedroom is designed with a large walk in closet where you can store your suit cases and for those that like to shop! In between the master bedroom and bath is a desk for executive travelers. The view from the desk is spectacular, as it overlooks the koi pond and Beaver Lake boat Swim Area, reminding you to take a break from work! Traveling with pets? Pet beds can be supplied and fit perfectly on each side of the bed under the built in side tables. These are removed for those not traveling with pets.

The master bath has a luxurious spa like feel; you may very well want to spend much time here! Although the photos do not capture the true essence of the water flowing from the ceiling, look real close and you will see it. Yes, the water for the Jacuzzi drops down from the ceiling, surprise! There are two settings for water movement: one is bubbles of air and the other circulates the water. The two person Jacuzzi is also equipped with a heater to keep the water warm for those cooler evenings. And my oh my, the walk in shower will wash away all your concerns! The shower has preset settings, just walk in and press a button. You can try different scenes for your favorite or try each one every time. Both the master bedroom and bath have flat screen TV’s for your entertainment delight. The master bath directly overlooks the koi pond where you also have access through a door with a small bridge over the pond. Beaver Lake and private boat Swim Area can be viewed from the Jacuzzi. Perfect for a romantic bath with your sweetheart!

The guest bath is designed with a walk in shower and preset shower heads, just as the master bath shower. Guests using the guest bath won't feel deprived, as they can enjoy the preset showers as well.

The guest bedroom has a queen bed with a twin-sized bunk above and twin trundle below. The entire unit will comfortably sleep four guests. A walk in closet provides both drawer and hanging space for your belongings. Two inflatable mattresses are also provided for guests use.

Pets are allowed with prior approval and payment. We currently allow up to two pets with a $50 per pet fee and $100 pet deposit.

About Devon or Ticon Storay

Owners, Ticon and Devon, met ten years ago at a friends get together and have not been apart since. Both growing up in Fayetteville and Texas, owning the Shoreline Way home for several years. 'It is an amazing place to be and the second you get there you are in a different world. You forget about the outside.'

We love animals and the outdoors, especially those together.

We have been all over Arkansas. Our favorite areas are in Newton County. There are all kinds of amazing places in the National Forest. There is also Slaughter Pens mountain biking park in Bentonville, which is awesome, and also Hobbs National Park which has mountain biking, hiking, and a shooting range. There are lots of skate parks and disc golf courses as well and even dog parks. The Crystal Bridges 900 million dollar art museum is a must see for any traveler!

We love Arkansas because its the natural state and everywhere you go you see trees, greengage, and life.

Devon or Ticon Storay purchased this house in 2008

Why Devon or Ticon Storay chose Fayetteville

We bought this house because the second we saw where it sat, we knew it was for us. It is perfect for YOU!

When we first bought the home, it was a rustic cabin. We added some modern touches in a major overhaul and now we have what you see in the pictures today. Most of all the artwork is from a local Fayetteville artist, Matt Miller. His artwork is dreamy and places you in a magical place. All of the artwork is full of exotic colors and shapes, creating a feeling of being a portal from another realm. We also have several large mineral specimens which add to the feel of the rooms.

The house is stocked with high tech appliances that include cabinet front double dishwasher, automatic soap dispensing laundry machines, 8 shower head digital Kohler shower with digital water temperature controls, computers with every TV that allow for whatever internet streaming source you use, a two person Jacuzzi tub, an alkaline water filter, convection stove which boils water in 90 seconds.

The themes of the rooms are earthy with native stone rock floors and dark brown earth colors. These features go well with the Matt Miller artwork, bringing the outdoor and indoor qualities together as one.

The master bed has a cozy suite feel with an extra large bathroom just a few steps away. Both master bed and bath present a calm and relaxing feeling. The guest bed is funky, made to give an exciting and different feel.

Our favorite spot is outside on the decks where we can enjoy the amazing Beaver Lake surroundings.

What makes this house unique

The house has 80 foot cliffs across from its Swim Area which provide amazing scenery. And neighbors are barely visible. The neighborhood is also amazingly friendly and the neighbors would go out of their way for anybody. The Swim Area is the furthest south on the lake and has no sight of any other Swim Area, giving it an amazing feel of isolation.

The best of both worlds, country life with city access. This house is unique because of its proximity to Fayetteville and Springdale and its remote feeling location. Once at the house you forget that you are only 30 minutes from all the amenities you would want and feel like you are isolated in nature.

Property was great! Very nice place. Only 3 stars due to lack of communication.

  • 3 of 5

Pro's- Great house. Very clean. Location was private, relaxing and an easy 20-25 minute drive to Fayetteville. Can't see neighbors from the property but if you do run into any, they are very nice.

Con's- Communication with the owners was a nightmare. We sent numerous emails requesting an early check in. Never received a reply. Arrived at the house at the regular check in time. We never received the code from the owners to get in the house. We sent emails, tried to contact them thru the website, called and texted 4 different numbers that they provided. The one they provided as their number, plus 3 emergency contact numbers they provided in the rental contract. The owners didn't respond for hours. One of the numbers was some drunk kids. Another number was the former property manager that said she hasn't managed the property in several years. The last number didn't answer. We had traveled 7 hours and had two 70 year olds that needed to use the bathroom. We were stranded on the porch in hot weather. We contacted the dock manager for the lake. We contacted an alarm company. Nobody was able to help us. One of us started looking for nearby hotels while another one of us started going to neighbors houses. The 2nd neighbor we contacted, was super nice and actually knew the owners and had a key. She was able to help us out. This was after several hours of waiting. That night the owner finally called us back and said they accidentally sent the code to the wrong person.

Summary- Great place. Not sure if I would stay here again or recommend it. It was a lot of stress and hassle to the start of our vacation.

A very nice home ... (no true lake access for a normal size fishing boat)

  • 3 of 5

The home is just as beautiful on the inside as it is shown in the photos. The baths and the kitchen / living room are very spacious. Fixtures and kitchen appliances are all high tech and all function properly. Beds are comfortable and the deck outside is a wrap-around type and provides a terrific view over the large yard.

The property itself is rather secluded. From the main highway, you have to drive approximately 10-15 minutes down a one and a half lane, twisty road to reach the home. It's challenging if you intend on pulling a boat. There is a tight corner entering the property and a gate with relatively narrow clearance if you are towing a full-size bass boat. The launch / dock that was shown in the photos is not appropriate for launching a 18+ foot boat. It's fine for canoes or a kayak - though nothing with an outboard. It takes approximately 20 minutes from the home to get to a public boat launch.

The property, though adjacent to the lake, has a sparse and fairly limited view of the lake and the view is mostly obscured by mature trees.

A lot of this information was contained in the description online. I guess that I did not read the description carefully enough. We'd thought that we were renting a lakefront home with a view of the lake, private dock, and boat launch. The owners were pleasant to work with. They refunded our security deposit in a timely manner, in full. If you're looking for a quiet weekend away, and not towing a boat of significance, I would highly recommend this property.

Owner's Response: This person asked questions in his message and then never responded to all the answer he was looking for. When he arrived he was upset he didn't have what he wanted after putting no effort into checking the details of the rental. He left bloody sheets and didn't say anything. He left early and got a refund and still complained he didn't get everything he wanted. He even says that the info he wanted was in the descriptions it just wasn't the way he wanted. I would suggest not renting to this person.

Outdoorsy and Homey -- this place has it all!

  • 5 of 5

My husband, son, daughter-in-law, 18-mo old granddaughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our weekend at this Shoreline Way property. The setting was beautiful and the house had a wonderful wrap-around deck to enjoy from all angles. The house is so comfortable with the basics and the outstanding features, such as the jetted showers, Jacuzzi tub with the waterfall from the ceiling. We brought our boat and enjoyed the convenience of having a slip to keep it.... the kayaks came in very handy and were so enjoyable. We did not get a chance to bike-ride, but maybe next time! There will be a next time.... this will be a place to revisit. Thank you so much for sharing your property!

Beaver Lake Escape.

  • 4 of 5

Overall enjoyed our stay, but that should be expected when paying premium prices.House and deck were amazing with chef quality kitchen. Bathrooms and showers were outstanding and modern. The koi pond fountain was not working but otherwise we spent a lot of time outside on the deck.

During our stay the water was up and the dock was only accessible by kayaking out through the submerged trees and bushes. A bit of a inconvenience. The outside grill needs to be replaced as the starter was broken and when lit could only heat to about 250-300 degrees. The house is very secluded, but that seclusion meant barely a view of the Lake dues to the trees no growth.

Devon was very responsive to a couple of questions we had on the first day and overall communication was very good.

Fun weekend!

  • 4 of 5

We had a great weekend at the lake. The house and property are beautiful. Way more space than we needed for the two of us but enjoyed the peace and serenity. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need and we did a lot of cooking. We really loved the bath tub and ended our days relaxing in a hot tub. The view from the tub is great too! We had some communication issues early on when arriving, buy were able to get ahold of Tikon and Devon in order to get the key to the place. That was the only bump in the road. The rest of the weekend was fantastic. We would recommend this property to anyone looking for a beautiful peaceful weekend at the lake.
