About the property

Lodge with 8 Bedrooms, 6.5 Bathrooms, Game Room, Beds for 46, and Mountain Views

Looking for that perfect business retreat or family reunion? How about a place that is off the beaten path, but still close? Hidden Oaks Lodge is located 40 minutes southeast of Moab on 200 acres of mountain land that borders the National Forest. This secluded eight bedroom, 7000 square foot lodge accommodates groups of 40+ and is so private that you can only see one other cabin light at night. The lodge is just a short 20 minute drive to beautiful Lopez Arch and red rock country in one direction, and even closer to pristine fishing lakes on the La Sal Mountains. You can even head directly out the back door with your mountain bike, hiking gear, cross country skis, or ATV's to access thousands of acres of National Forest Land. A huge 60 foot deck provides the perfect place for visiting, and the fire pit allows for plenty of marshmallow roasting. The kids will love to play Frisbee and Bad-Mitten on the ginormous lawn and will spend hours building forts in the nearby gamble oak trees. The pond is perfect for skipping rocks and splashing around in on warm summer days. The outdoor commercial-sized grill will make meal time a breeze, and bedtime is a cinch when cousins don't have to wait in line for a shower. You won't want to miss out on this spectacular place to stay when you visit Moab!

About Aleigh Redd

Hidden Oaks Lodge is located on our cattle ranch which has been in our family for four generations. It is our family's favorite place to be together when we need a break from the noise of the rest of the world! We love the serenity we experience while staying at the lodge and want others to experience and enjoy it as well. When we are not at the lodge, we keep busy with our 5 kids and their various activities.

What makes this lodge unique

Hidden Oaks Lodge is unique in the sense that it so easily accommodates large groups. The large structure never feels crowded, and the outdoor space allows for plenty of roaming room. With 6 showers, 7 toilets, plenty of beds, and a large kitchen, it is the perfect place for big groups. The location of the lodge is secluded country living at it's best while being just a short drive to all the tourism hot spots that Moab has to offer.

Guestbook comments from the owner

My family absolutely LOVED the lodge. The new open configuration of the main floor worked very well for our large group. We celebrated three big events ( a marriage, a 65th birthday, and a soon to be baby) and everyone fit into the great room and front entry. The openness of the kitchen into the dining area/great room was very conducive for all to visit. My siblings all agreed that the bedrooms were comfortable for each family. (Loved all of the queen beds/bunks.) Also, the linens were very soft and plentiful. We did do several loads of laundry to be sure there weren't too many dirty bath towels/kitchen towels for you to do.

The breakfast/dinner entertainment was wonderful for the six children (ages 2-7). I'm referring to the deer that came to eat and drink at those times. Also, the front lawn was a baseball field and game area for young and old. Those of us who weren't playing at the time had a great view from the porch.

Thank you for allowing us to rent your beautiful lodge and we will keep Hidden Oaks on our list of possible places to stay when we gather again in two years.

I can't say enough good things about this incredible property!! We ventured for a small weekend wedding and every single guest commented that it was the most beautiful setting and the most perfect place! The owner has been a dream and so easy to get ahold of! Thank you we will back!!!

Beautiful place! We have stayed here 2 years in a row for our company retreat and all the folks love it. We had 33 people and everyone was very comfortable.

It was a beautiful home, clean, and functional. The area was remote and yard well kept.

Make sure you ask for the code a few days in advance. We had trouble getting the code and had a hard time getting in. The land around was gorgeous! We wished we had brought guns for target practice.

Perfect family reunion!

  • 5 of 5

We had such an amazing time here! There was plenty of room for all 30 of us. The yard was huge and we used it to our advantage, and the beautiful surroundings was so beautiful. The kitchen was huge, which was so nice and well stocked. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect place to hold our 22nd family reunion. We only had 2 complaints: 1-there needs to be a serrated knife in the kitchen ( it was hard to cut bread and stuff without one!) and 2nd: we noticed that the deck was being finished, but wasn't complete. There was a few inches gap between the new and old boards. We had several people sitting in chairs fall in the cracks, and we had some of our little people whose leg would fall down into the hole and they got scraped up. So, we hope that gets fixed soon. But, overall, it was exactly what we needed and were hoping for. Thanks for letting us enjoy your place!

Amazing property and home

  • 5 of 5

We recently stayed at the lodge for a family reunion. We had young babies all the way up to teenagers and this house was amazing! There was something for everyone! The property is very private so you don't have to worry about kids being too loud and disturbing the neighbors and the views are amazing. The pins the fire pit the large property to explore on, huge grass areas for wiffle ball, soccer, water balloon fights etc.

The kitchen was very well stocked and organized and had everything you could need. Plenty of wash rags, paper towels, toilet paper, soap etc.

The bedrooms were all spacious and clean with plenty of blankets, pillows and extra sheets. Lots of towels and a bonus to have 4 sets of washers and dryers:)) take homeCean clothes!!:) be sure to bring your own laundry soap!

We absolutely would (and already have) recommend this to anyone wanting a great location for a family getaway. We only went to Moab but in the future look forward to exploring the other hikes and fishing near by. If your debating staying here just do it! You will not regret it! 5 stars

Hidden Oaks Lodge is quietly secluded at the base of the La Sal Mountains and offers plenty of serenity along with opportunities to love the outdoors! It borders National Forest and is directly connected to county roads leading into the heart of the beautiful La Sal Mountains. These roads are just perfect for an ATV or mountain bike outing. Walking, hiking, and ATV riding are the most popular activities close to the lodge with nearby Moab offering both Canyonlands and Arches National Parks. Fishing on the La Sal Mountains is a crowd favorite, and jeeping Moab's red rocks is always a good time. Enjoy some front porch sitting, roast marshmallows in the fire pit, splash in the pond, or play some bad-mitten on the ginormous lawn. Kids will be in heaven building forts in the oak brush, going on treasure hunts, playing Hide-n-go-Seek and Kick-the-Can, and getting plenty of use out of the playground. Hidden Oaks Lodge is country living at it's best!
