It was ok the problem was the ad does not clarify that you have to pay 29.00 per day for parking
We were a group of 12 women in for a conference, we rented 3 apartments. We were very pleased with the accommodations and the service we received - I would definitely recommend this location and Stay Alfred and would be happy to stay here again!
We stayed a week and the accommodations were great. We had everything we needed and nothing that we didn't. The location could not have been better-- it was an easy walk to food, must-sees, groceries and toiletries. Uber made getting around the larger area so easy. Highly recommend Stay Alfred for parties of 3+!
The location is ideal for taking part in downtown Seattle activities. The security staff was excellent when checking into the unit and helping with late arriving guest. Only issue was with cleanliness of unit, i.e. vacuuming and dusting, but it did not severely impact our stay.
This was our first time to use VRBO. The unit we rented was through Stay Alfred. The Stay Alfred people were very nice and responsive to issues, although they did charge for changes (as they advertised they would.) The property concierge was also very helpful. The location was very good, centrally located and within walking distance of many attractions and restaurants. The unit furnished extra bags for the trash cans, washer detergent and dishwasher detergent. The main complaint is that the carpets were REALLY dirty and the bedrooms were too light at night from an office building across the street.
The booking process and communication from Stay Alfred was straight forward and easy. The location of the apartment was phenomenal - just a few blocks from Pike's Place Market, the Monorail and the Seattle Center. The kids loved the pool and we all enjoyed sitting out on the 8th floor shared community patio every evening before dinner. There are grills for use, if you choose, and lots of patio seating if you just want to enjoy a glass of wine. Whole Foods is only 2 blocks away, so it was easy to grab few bottles of wine and food for dinner. The layout of the actual apartment was fine - 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a pull out couch in the living room. The WiFi worked well, but the TV reception was only mediocre. Unfortunately, despite the great location and ambiance at this location, we were disappointed in how badly our unit smelled of smoke. The unit was non smoking, but it was obvious that the adjoining unit housed some heavy smokers, because the minute we walked into our apartment the smell was significant. It got to the point that on the last night, we couldn't even sleep in the mast bedroom, because the smoke smell was so strong. For the price we were paying per night, we thought that this was unacceptable.
Bellevue Arts Museum
Seattle has much to offer for individuals craving a thriving city. Our Vacation Rentals in Seattle are ideally located too see all the top attractions or kick back and relax with the family and guests.
Stunning Views and Sightseeing Opportunities
Seattles waterfront location enables guests to have access to a variety of activities complete with stunning views. The sights never get old, especially to one of our many guests on vacation in our downtown Seattle properties. The landscape itself is a work of art, just take a look at Olympic Sculpture Park. It is a free attraction that houses sculptures from many kinds of artists and even has a popular trail which attracts the city’s many open air devotees. You can usually see them walking on the park’s beachside trails or cycling down the bike paths.
Another outdoor hotspot is The Seattle Waterfront on Alaskan Way. The waterfront has more than 10 paths and a plethora of spots where you can just relax and take in the views. However, we can’t ignore the most quintessential part of Seattle for catching breathtaking sights, The Space Needle. The Space Needle gives visitors amazing views of the city, but we recommend visiting Columbia Tower and Smith Tower so you can really compare the city’s best spots for sightseeing.
Art, Museum and Nightlife Enthusiasts Wont Be Disappointed
The Pacific Northwest has a thriving art and culture scene and every year more and more artists gravitate to Seattle. The city hosts a variety of cultural and artistic gems and there seems to be art around every corner. At last count there were nearly 200 galleries, five art museums, countless Broadway shows and the Seattle Opera. Nightlife lovers have more than 80 clubs and music venues to visit with some of them offering live music. The biggest problem Seattleites have is choosing where to go next.
Seattles museums have something for children, adults and the young at heart. There are art museums, maritime museums, history museums, childrens museums and more. If you’re fascinated by aviation visit the Museum of Flight and gain a greater appreciation and understanding for the miracle of flight. Music and pop culture lovers will be enthralled by the EMP Museums Jimi Hendrix exhibit and discover pop cultures strong history.
For the Sports Fans
Sport lovers unite in Seattle. Whether you prefer mainstream sports, such as football and baseball, to or sports that are increasing in popularity (lacrosse, MMA and Rugby), the city has a sport for you. Pro sports lovers will be thrilled because more than 15 professional teams call the city home.
The best part about living in Seattle just might be the 24-hour access to food. Naturally, the city has plenty of coffee shops (Starbucks anyone?), but it doesnt just begin and end with the citys most famous coffee brand. Seattle's culinary scene has exploded and the bakeries, breweries, wineries and top restaurants exist alongside some of the city’s oldest and most respected restaurants. Here the old and the new happily coexist and the real winners are the city’s guests.
Louisiana may be the Sportsmans Paradise, but Seattle is a Shopper’s Paradise. The city a shopper’s paradise is because of its diverse neighborhoods. Shoppers can find anything their heart desires, from a dressage saddle to a pair of Louboutins. Seattle has it all. If gourmet shopping is more your speed, then pop over to the International District, Seattle's home for exotic foods from around the world. Check our Seattle Vacation Rentals!
