Nice, quiet location

We prefer quieter areas over the heavily traveled. Sometimes it is nice to be the only people on the beach.

Relaxing Beach Stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our first time visiting the state of Alabama - we had originally planned to stay in Gulf Shores, but the peaceful shores of Dauphin Island seemed much more appealing for a low key family getaway. The condo was cute and clean, with a no-fuss checkin and checkout system. We had everything we needed including a heated pool and access to the beautiful beach. My ONLY complaint is that all businesses on the island kept very limited hours this time of year. It was difficult to enjoy our day without worrying about getting to dinner before the few options would close between 7:30(!) and 9:00. The weather was much cooler than we had hoped it would be on Spring Break, so good food was the bright spot in our cold, windy trip. I imagine this same trip planned in the summer or fall with warm weather would be AMAZING.

Little bit of a long walk to the beach , but it was very nice and relaxing.
