The property was very clean and well-maintained. Everything was exactly as described in the listing.
The kitchen is very well stocked. The kitchen / dining / living rooms have a nice open floor plan which was very comfy to live in.
The host was friendly over email and directions / instructions about the house were clear.
Note that there is no fireplace.
Even though this is a ski on/off place, we couldn't actually do that because of the lack of snow. In other words, Sunday River did not have the Road Runner Trail open during our stay (which was last week of December). So if you do want to ski on/off, make sure that Road Runner and the White Cap base is open.
I would recommend this property.
The house was a short walk to the Roadrunner Trail. Ski-in / ski-out convenience. The house was quite comfortable for the 8 of us with a fully equipped kitchen, WiFi, and other amenities. Everyone, including the non-skiers, enjoyed their stay. The owner, Joe, was very friendly and available to answer any questions via phone or email.
My family along with wife's brother and kids (4 adults, 6 children total) stayed here for three nights after Christmas and loved the home. It is a short walk to the slopes and we skied to the lifts in the morning and home for lunch and at the end of the day. The bedrooms are a good size, clean, comfortable, and the "bunk" room upstairs was great for the kids. The kitchen and dining area are large, and the kitchen is very well appointed--not like a rental unit at all, very much someone's home. The downstairs game room was a great space for the kids as well. The owner was incredibly helpful before and during our stay, overall a great experience.
The house is located in the original village for the Sunday River Ski Area. It is just off the access road to the Barker Mountain Base Lodge.
