Our apartment is located approximately 35 min from Lima's Jorge Chavez International Airport, which makes a perfect spot to rest before and after traveling to Cuzco or any other destination around Peru.

The apartment comes fully furnished and equipped with all the essentials you need to make your stay in Lima feel like Home. Our apartment building has 24 hour security personnel.

Different apartment from photo with pros and cons.

Owner was nice to work with, although we had several issues with making the reservation, first trying through Airbnb. You should know that the owner manages several apartments and the photos here do not match the apartment we stayed in (which was five zero one). The apartment shown is six zero two. The one I am reviewing is similar but not quite as nice as the photos.

Pros: Location is fantastic; very close to ocean and Larcomar for shopping and restaurants and playgrounds/parks for kids. There is a decent view of the ocean from the porch. Overall quality of the apartment is good with a brand new fridge and nice clothes washer. 24-hour security is nice and guards were super friendly, especially Jorge! The property and area was very quiet.

Cons: The oven does not work. Had to use toaster oven to cook pizza. And the toaster oven did not work in the kitchen because it did not have the right adapter so the first day I had to cook the pizza on the floor in the living room while trying to keep 5 kids away from it! Finally took adapter off the TV to make the toaster oven work in kitchen. The microwave shocked my wife and I when touching the area around the start button. Owner did replace right away. I realized late in our 10 day stay that I had not been given a key to the stairwell (back door to the apartment). That is a major safety issue as we would have been trapped if there was a fire. Gas for the stove ran out during our stay and owner had someone replace it very quickly which was nice, however the replacement only worked for 2 meals and then the stove would not light again. The DVD player does not have cables to connect it to the TV, so we were unable to use it. We would stay here again, but would ask for some repairs prior, especially the stove.

Great Apartment in Lima close to everything

I rented this apartment for 12 days in February 2012 with 2 other friends. I was not sure what to expect since I usually stay in a hotel. We loved our experience there, the location is perfect. Walking distance to Larco Mar, the nightlife, the restaurants and casinos. We loved that we had a nice kitchen and a laundry room with washer and dryer. It's also very safe with 24 hr security and even has a parking spot if you have visitors or rent a car. I would recommend this place to anyone going to Lima, a much better and more affordable experience than a hotel. I will be coming back to Lima and plan on staying here again. Thanks Alfredo!!
