About Marcy and Ken
Recently retired and now living permanently in the Black Hills.
Marcy and Ken purchased this Cabin in 2005
Why Marcy and Ken chose Custer
In 2005 my husband and I were looking for a place in the Black Hills for when we were able to retire that was centrally located to all that the Hills have to offer. We built this cabin and used it for our many vacations to the Black Hills. Being adjacent to the national forest we have enjoyed many beautiful hikes and abundant wildlife just outside our door way. Since we recently completed the building of our permanent home next door we are now able to share this piece of heaven with others.
What makes this Cabin unique
Black Hills National Forest 100' from the cabin. Deer and turkey stop by for a visit.

Long Weekend Getaway
We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Truly a great “home” away from home. Very clean and well stocked. We hope to return again in the future!
Beautiful, clean, convienent
Very convenient to nearby attractions. We had our horses across the road at the Broken Arrow horse camp and it was easy to join our friends there for trail rides and cookouts. The cabin was stocked with everything you could possibly need. The beds were very comfortable, too.
Louisiana Coastal Plain to the Black Hills
Great cabin, excellent location, super clean. Being country folks this was an excellent experience for this leg of our trip.
Dan & Brenda
Off the beaten path which we like.
Cute cabin Great Location
Comfortable cabin, with a nice location for all attractions. Had a wonderful time and would recommend this cabin for couples and small families.
