This luxury condo is located in-between Gas Town and Yale Town. Amenities to this unit are ideal. There are two major grocery stories just minutes from the condo. Costco being one and TNT being the other. Five star restaurants and coffee bars are also within walking distance. If you would like to do some touring then hop onto the Aqua bus. Going to Grandville Island is a breeze. You can also take a bike ride around the sea wall and enjoy the ocean and Stanley Park. This condo is close to just about anything that you would like to do, whether that be shopping, sightseeing or just relaxing in a coffee bar.

About Hellena

My three children visit and I visit Vancouver several times a year to visit my family. Since we have been doing this for many years, we felt that we needed a place of our own.

Hence this condo. We love being right in the heart of downtown. Shopping is easy and doing activities with the children is even easier. My daughter takes ballet here in Vancouver in the summers and the two boys enjoy taking art classes on Grandeville Island. So it is very convient for us. we love and enjoy this place as we hope you will too.

Why Hellena chose Gastown-Chinatown

The reason why I would choose this property is that not only has it been updated and renovated, but you also have a private courtyard, a very modernized exercise equipment and room, a swimming pool and jacuzzi. Grocery stores, restaurant, coffee bars, pharmacists, hair salons, dog groomers are all just minuets away. Literally all you have to do is go downstairs and out the building and everything is there. In addition, on a clear day, you can see the beautiful mountains peaks from the bedroom windows. It's a nice sight when getting up in the mornings.

Very nice apartment, biggest issue was the blinds in the bedrooms did not block out the light.

Very nice apartment however the blinds did not block out the morning light. While located very centrally, the area is a bit seedy at night. The only other issue was only being given one key made it hard to go out in seperate groups. Was easy to access and facilities were very good.

Very nice place, convenient

Contemporary, beautiful condo close to harbor and other activities. Neighborhood is fair with typical big city issues. Some basic amenities were missing including soap and shampoo. A couple of light bulbs were out implying a little better routine maintenance needed. Overall a good experience.

Well-located but equipment and maintenance issues

Mixed review. Excellent location, and designated host did come first day to re-set the WiFi modem which wasn’t working, before announcing that he was leaving town for the next several days. (If we had arrived one day later, we would evidently have had to go without WiFi altogether.) The pendant light fixtures over the sink, so lovely in the photo and so potentially functional when working at the sink, did not work and he said the owner would take care of it. She did not, answering our email about it that she had the (specialty) replacement bulbs but was busy so not sure when she would bring them. She never did, in the course of the next week. Before we arrived, I inquired whether the kitchen equipment included some specific items (like a baking dish or pan) because we planned to eat in several days and this was essential, so if not provided, we would bring one. She only answered that the kitchen was “fully equipped.” I wrote again specifically asking about the baking dish, and she did not answer. When we got there: you guessed it, no baking dish. So although an oven is provided, not a single dish to use in it, in this “fully equipped” kitchen! (I guess the oven is to look at, not to use.) She said in an email she would bring one with the light bulbs, but never brought either. (We had to go out and buy one.) Disappointing in a week rental that was not inexpensive. But if your WiFi connection, adequate kitchen lighting, and minimally adequate kitchen equipment don’t matter to you, this would be a good place to stay near Gastown and a Skytrain station.
