Overview

Photos and Description of this Kerikeri holiday house

Bach or holiday home, 4 Bedrooms, 2 Bathrooms, (Sleeps 10)

Wrapped around a magnificent stream, 'Hidden Waters' includes two seperate dwellings, six acres of mature, rock-lined gardens and four acres of covenanted native bush, with the highlight a 17 metre waterfall.

The Homestead is a completely renovated 1920's Californian Bungalow with a huge open plan living area (lounge, dining and reading room), four generous bedrooms, two bathrooms, a third toilet and a sumptuous outdoor bath. The 3 metre stud gives a sense of spaciousness, as do the seven sets of French doors, bringing the outside in. Sleeps up to 10 people.

The property boasts a series of forest walks to towering kauri, totara and rimu. A meditation platform sits high in the trees. A stream winds through the bush, culminating in rapids and a stunning private waterfall, complete with a plunge pool - ideal for summer afternoons. The perfect place for a weekend, a week, or the entire school holidays.

Families with children should be aware that the property is next to a flowing river with bluffs and steep dropoffs so young children need to be well supervised.

The owners love the property with a passion and can't wait to share it with you!

An absolutely magical property to stay at.

An absolutely magical property to stay at.Both the main house and schoolhouse accommodation were amazing and fulfilled our large group needs really well.

The grounds were very picturesque and the refreshing noise of the gushing waterfall was very soothing.

The kitchen facilities were fantastic and roomy. No tripping over each other while preparing food.

All in all I can't speak highly enough of this property and how it was presented.Would definitely recommend it to anyone.
