We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Dear Cottage. The living area is very comfortable and the air condition was very welcome. The kitchen was roomy and very well equipped so we were able to cook our dinners there. We arrived on Valentine's day and Gloria was extremely helpful, recommending where to get the best fish and even arranging for flowers to be there on our arrival.
While the cottage is on an un-charming road, you don't realize it when you're inside. There's a very private back yard that the living area opens onto. It's an easy walk to city center or to the water. We highly recommend it.
A nice property, with good features. The bedrooms do suffer a bit with the noise from the main road outside - if you're a light sleeper you may want to look elsewhere. It's a large and spacious, however.
A fantastic and very comfortable base for our mountain bike/race holiday with everything we needed, loved the expresso machine. Dear Cottage is very close to the centre of town, so easy to ride/walk in to town. Free use of wifi and a back garden to clean/work on our bikes was a bonus. Some road noise heard in front bedrooms on a busy night did affect a light sleeper.
Lovely clean sunny stylish cottage -walked into town for all the restaurants shopping etc then perfect to use as a base to travel further up north
Everything you would wish for in the cottage -comfortable beds -plenty of kitchen equipment. The owner went out of her way to help us with any information we needed.
Would stay again
Thanks Gloria, really enjoyed our stay.
Lovely warm and beautifully presented cottage. We didn't realise it was on a busy road but couldn't hear road noise from living areas. Nice homely touches like cheese platter on arrival and espresso machine.
